Can't seem to find an IPAD that let's me control my playlists together...or let's me organize my videos (Karaoke) the way I want to. Can someone help or direct me?

The Ipad is on a short cable to my projector. I am usually on a podium 30 feet away. No infra red receiver on the IPad and
the Iphone remote needs wi fi which is not always available in all the locations I do my teaching and lecturing in.
If you can build a remote into the Ipad in the future I would really like to use an Ipad to replace my heavier lap top for business travel. Thank You Kathy McNeil.

When trying to manually manage my music and videos on itunes its telling me that im already signed up to one itunes library and if i apply these setings it will replace my current itunes library. is this safe and would i be able too retrieve my deleted mu

Thanks for your reply. I don't keep all of my music in the iTunes' designated music folder. I don't like the way iTunes reorganizes my songs and I keep all my music in my own self organized music folders as I don't use iTunes as my primary media application. Not to mention allot of my files come from all different corners of my computer's hard drive. It would literally take months to go through over 20 gigs of media files to pick out the songs I have in my iPhone library to rebuild an iTunes library. Like i said, I don't even use iTunes other than to transfer files to my iPhone. I thought the purpose of manually managing the files was so you don't have to sync it with the iTunes library but now it won't give my that option without requiring me to delete everything on my phone I worked so hard on.
What I don't understand is logically or technically why iTunes HAS to delete all the content off of my iphone. Who's decision in the Apple's software engineering department was to require the one's iPhone to be erased if someone loses their iTunes library? Its frustrating because it makes no sense and I feel as if the software is punishing me for reasons I don't understand by threatening to delete all my content off my phone. Is there absolutely no way to transfer my music to my iPhone without deleting everything currently on and completely rebuilding my music library from scratch?

I cannot get iOS 7.1.2 to download on my iPad or iPhones. It begins and then stops. Says connection is interrupted, but each of about 10 efforts has ended the same way.

When I connect my iPad or iPhones the system responds by saying an update to iOS 7.1.2 is available. After trying about ten times on three different instruments, I get the same result -- a start, then failure at about 1/2 the way through (15-20 minutes).

Looks as though my cable provider's repairs to the system may be interfering with my signal. Since I am the only one reporting this problem, since I've never had it before, and since the cable company's repair trucks are in the area, maybe that's the problem.

How an I write an SQL statement with a GROUP BY that will both (a) include the NULL value from the left hand table, but also (b) include ALL columns from the right hand table. It's like I need a LEFT JOIN and a RIGHT JOIN in the query at the same time.
Here's an example of the 2 tables I have and the result I'm after. As you can see I want the NULL's from Expenses Table summed, as well as include all categories from the right hand table (i.e. even if there are no expenses against them)

I think the easiest way is to use a firewire cable (you will need on like this: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Firewire+400+to+800+cable&oe=utf-8&rls= org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=120962573 04625337030&sa=X&ei=PytQT9r4NtOBsgL9s_C6Dg&ved=0CHYQ8gIwAA).
Power up the Power Mac G4 and hold the "T" key while it is booting (this puts the G4 notebook in Firewire Target Disk mode). Connect the G4 notebook to the newer MacBook Pro and use the Migration assistant (/Applications/Utilities) OR browse through the files and copy what you want.

My iPhone seemes to think that the headphones are connected egen they are not. So to talk to someone I have to put it On speaker or put in some headphones. I can't hear music and there is no sound egen i Get an sms or og I try to change the sound for sms!

The same thing happened to me on my old iPhone 3G. My guess was that water entered the headphone jack, and somehow made some short inside it making the iPhone believe that the headphone was plugged in. Pluggin and unpluggin the headset many times proved that sometimes it worked ok for a while, so what I did to solve the problem was spraying some good quality contact cleaner inside the jack, and voilá, still works fine after one year of the problem. Make sure you use a good quality contact cleaner WITHOUT LUBE, ( WD40 IS NOT GOOD FOR THIS PURPOSE) otherwise the lube will remain in the inside of your screen without a chance of cleaning it unless you dissasemble the iphone. A good quality contact cleanner should displace water and grease,and leave no residue after it evaporates ( IPA Iso Prophyl Alcohol, Hexane, or Heptane based products are ok)
The other possibility is taking it to the repair shop, and have it looked by an expert. Good luck!

I have sent in a question but don't think I worded it right. I have 3 email accounts. The all work fine. My problem is that I set up a "notication" the same way on all 3 but incoming emails are only notifed to me (alerts) on one of them.

How do I get notifications of incoming mail? I have set this up on 3 accounts and the "beep" only works on incoming email for one of the 3 accounts. The emails come in fine but I have to open up the phone to see if I have any messages.

Have you looked on all the pages of your iPod? Have you looked in all your folders? Have you you tried finding the apps using the iPod's search page.

I had the same problem on my iPad v2 IOS 7. But it sorted itself after a hard reset (power and home button) followed by a soft rest ( just power) . I lost all sound at this point. Then restarted again with a hard reset.

Does the iPhone Remote control a Mac mini in the same way as ATV?

My ATV1 has packed in.
Rather than having my MBP switched on just to listen to music through a new ATV to my hifi I am thinking of using a Mac Mini in the same way as ATV1.
Does the iPhone Remote work with the Mini the same way as it does with the ATV or do you need to use a mouse and switch on the screen?

'Manually Manage Music and Videos'

So, I set my iPhone to manually manage my music and videos and everything was working out well. However, due to some issues, I formatted my pc. When I reinstalled iTunes I can't set it back to manually manage my music and videos. Instead, when I select that option it prompts me to wipe my data to sync it with this library. And the music that is currently on it is greyed out and can't even drag and drop new ones or delete old ones.
I honestly don't wanna wipe it and re-transfer all again. Any way to not wipe it and make it back to how it was before?

You are forced to sync again. If you have the need to copy songs already on your iP*, use a program like Sharepod.
