I have a grid covering images when I open them, how do I remove it?
So recently when messing around with photoshop cs6 i accidenlty hit a few buttons I guess I shoudn't have and this happened
I have tried everything to my knowedge to try get it away but it won't go away, the repeatitive lines make it hard for me to focus or concentrate on the image behind it. Can someone please help me out by telling me how to remove this?

See Remove minor corruption by exporting to find the path to the hidden folder in your user profile that has the InDesign SavedData file. In the same folder you will find an InDesign Recovery folder. Empty that and ID should start OK.

Create a smart collection with criteria "collection" and "does not contain"; and also with criterion Folder contains (or folder contains all)
That works if you are thinking about a specific named collection.
If you are interested in finding photos that are not in ANY collection, the usual trick is "collection" "does not contain" "a e i o u y" -
All the books I paid money for will not open in iBooks on my MAC. Mavericks will not let me uninstall iBooks, so I cannot uninstall and reinstall it on my Pro. I have deleted and re-loaded the books and they show in my library (as they always did), but when I open them, all I get is a blank page with three dots at the bottom, flashing in sequence. This does not affect the free books from the book store nor does it affect the PDF I have loaded myself. (I had this problem on my iPad when the latest big software came out about a year or two ago, but I was able to re-initalize the complete iPad from my Pro Book.) I have tried just about everything I can think of, but all to no avail. To save time, I have reset my iTunes password and performed all the other "Apple Tips" in the support section, but after 5 hours I am giving up. Surely someone else must be having the same issue??
Yup, same issue since installing Mavericks. iBooks works fine on my wife's Macbook Pro, but on my Mac Pro none of my purchased (protected) books will open - only the free/unprotected ones.
I'm asked for my AppleID password, but nothing happens when I try to open a purchased and downloaded book. I deauthorized, reauthorized, etc ... nothing. Each purchased book that I double-click gives me a dialog asking for my Apple ID password. Nothing else.
I was already buying more books via Kindle than iTunes and this just seals the deal for me. At least I can read my already-purchased iBooks books on my iPad still... -

Try a hard reset. Hold Power button and home button until it restarts. Hold both till the Apple logo is displayed. Do not slide power off.
If that does not work you may need to restore. -

I have two arrays of points, when i plot them there´s an intersection point, but this point doesn´t belong to any arrays. I need to find the both value of this point, X and Y. I attached my problem in a very simple example. Thanks.

arrays_plot.vi 25 KBAlthough this doesn't directly answer your question , I've attached a VI that will hopefully give you a start and point you in the right direction. It generates a Boolean array that indicates between which indecies an intersection has taken place. Then, all you need to do is use triganometry to work out exactly what the intersection point is.

Having corrected my corrupt catalog (PSE 11) I now have thousands of duplicate images. Is there any way of of removing the extra copies? I've had suggestions that apply to Windows, and iPhoto but can't find any advice for Photoshop Elements on Mac Maverick
You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

You are right.
Before HiDpi displays became available three years ago, you could find advice about what was the good resolution for displays, depending on their size in in/cm and viewing distance.
- For relatively big displays (22" to 30") a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080 was considered optimal.
- For big laptops or small desktop, 1680 x 1050 or 1640 x 900 were good.
In Windows, you could set the size of fonts to full resolution or 25% or 50% bigger... if the software supports this feature, which was not the case with Photoshop, Elements... The size of the fonts was deternined and fixed in the software itself, with no way to scale the fonts. The solution needed Microsoft to provide developpers with new programming interfaces and the solution for developpers was to rewrite a substantial part of the code.
Anyway, to enable good viewing of characters on common 12 or 13" HiDpi displays, you need to use the fonts at 200%.
And that makes sense. To see the same characters on a 12" display the same as on a 24", they must be twice the size... good rule of thumbs. -
