I have a lot of "other" taking up my storage on my mac book air. What is the "other"? how to i get rid of so much of whats in it?btw i have alot of pictures on iphoto on my macbook air if this has anything to do with it.

"Other" storage refers to system files, documents, pictures, downloads..., everything that doesn't fit onto other categories. "Photos" is a category that takes 2.62 GB on your computer, so you shouldn't be worried about photos
