I have a Mac Book Pro (13" )laptop and cannot export photos from I Photo to my desktop or to a flash drive.
I am trying to export photos from Iphoto to a folder on my desktop and seem to be unable to do this as a big X appears on the bottom of the photo and it says it can not export photo. Any ideas how to solve this problem so that I can download photos from I photo to my desktop?

You can export photos via email, a MobileMe Gallery, Flickr, Facebook, Photo Stream, iWeb, or to a burn folder but not to a folder on your Desktop or a flash drive.
Workaround is to connect the flash drive then drag the photos from your iPhoto library to the flash drive icon on the Desktop.

How old is the MacBook Pro? AirPlay is only supported on 2011 and newer models, due to the requirements it has in hardware for graphics acceleration.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

First, make sure caps lock is not on.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.

As your core temperatures rise, it's normal for the fans to speed up - but if you're not running any CPU/GPU intensive apps, it's not normal for your MBP to heat up or for the fans to run high. Download the free iStat Pro widget and either record or take a screen shot of your temps and fans speeds. Oh, and your MBP should not heat up just because you're using the power adapter.

I have two Macs and one windows but I left the disk along with the key code in Dubai. If I want to use windows 7 on bootcamp on my other mac, and do a migrate, will I have to use the key code at some point?
if do do I have to buy a new windows 7?There is no system like Acronis for the Mac platform. You can try using the buiilt in Disk Utility to create an Image of the complete Mac drive but I have found that this does not work very well as on tryiing to restore it gives errors sometimes.
You can use SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner to create a bootable Clone of your system partition. But that is only for the System partition and not the complete drive.
If you use Boot Camp to install Windows on your Mac neither of those two programs will clone the Windows side.
Neither will Disk utility as Mac's can not create or write to a NTFS partition. So some other program is need for that. -

Hi. Are you saying that you are missing some keys on the MBP? If the keys are missing, but the keyboard works ,then all you need is the missing keys. If you know what keys are missing you can buy them on Ebay and replace them Look at or look up keyboard for your MBP and write down what keys you need. I am trying to connect my laptop to my TV. The computer flashes blue after I plug the cable in but the TV says there is no signal.

Hi, the last install dvd that came out for mac's was Snow Leopard,10.6.3. Lion is a download from apple. You cannot just install it over Yosemite. You would have to backup your drive to save files you want and do a clean install. You might want to look into getting more memory.
