I have a new computer, and a new iTunes. My old computer crashed and I cannot access the harddrive. How can I switch over my iPod and iPad to my new iTunes?

My laptop crashed and I cannot access the harddrive. How can I transfer everything to my new iTunes to be able to sync my products with having to "erase" and start from scratch on evrything? Any insight will be greatly appreciatted! Thank you!!

Your iPad is married to its now deceased old computer. This is the reason for the necessity of a backup for your computer, which your iPad is not.
Your iTunes Store and App Store purchases will not be lost. Just don't "erase and sync" when you sync your iPad to your new Mac:
If you want to move the iTunes Store purchases on your device to the new computer, choose "Transfer Purchases." The new computer must be set up with your iTunes Store account and authorized to play your iTunes Store purchases in order to transfer your iTunes Store purchases.

I can't access the audio memo apps but i can see under usage - manage storage that all the files are located in icloud. how to extract .wav files from icloud if the apps is no longer responding to fileshare in itunes? Thanks.

yes it was solved some time ago. i cant remember exactly but i think i disconnected from the internet and tried accessing the audio apps (or maybe i had accessed the apps first then only turned off internet i cant remember) thereafter the files were in my local apps and then I turned off use icloud. i suggest you backup your ipad on itunes before trying anything. how can I stop my childs ipod and ipad receiving same messages, they were both set up to the same email account and itunes account. I have just set up a new itunes account for my daughters ipod and changed hers to the new account but my ipad still seems to be getting the same messages from her ipod which is what I wanted to avoid, any suggestions ?

i changed itunes and email password. and afew others will that stop the text messages form going to it.

I have another issue. Everytime I add a new mailbox , I get an error message in owa 2010 that it cannot access the mailbox

I go into the 2008 r2 dc and add a user. The 2003 dc has all of the fsmo roles. Then I go into the exchange server and add the new mailbox through the GUI. It runs the cmdlet and creates the new mailbox without any errors. Then I go in and try to access
the mailbox through owa and cannot access the mailbox. It says the mailbox does not exist. Both my 2003 dc(which I want to decommission) and 2008 servers are replicating. I see the user object on both servers. I have the email server pointed to the 2003 dns
server as my preferred dns. This just started happenning a couple of days ago. I dont know if a windows update caused this but everything was fine before Wednesday. All of the other users can access their mailboxes through owa just any new ones I created cannot.
In fact when I send a test email to the new account, I immediately get a bounce back so I dont think I would be able to access the new mailbox through outlook.

I recommend you check your exchange server using windows server 2003 DC or windows server 2008 DC.
Please use repadmin /showrepl command to check DC replication status.
Please check if there is related error in application log.

Now they are not in iPad(local) and they are not in iCloud(remote)
bvut I can see those videos in "shared"
what is shared?
when you clock on "photos" you will see three things at the bottom of the screen

My videos are in "shared" I want to down load them locally into my iPad

The safest way to do this would be to copy your itunes library to an external drive. For the purposes of this excersize the new Laptop would be the external drive

To restore to factory setting/new iPod:

I have a Mac Book, and as it's a little older, and was getting full, I moved my iPhoto library onto an external hard drive. This external hard drive was always plugged in, and iPhoto used it as it's store so to speak.
However, the hard drive has died which means I now have no access to any of my photo's.
As I sync both my iPad and iPhone to iphoto in it entirity, at the minute I have ALL my photos on both my iPad and my iPhone.
How can I recover the photo's onto my mac or new hard drive from the ipad or iphone? I don't dare plug either in at the minute as I don't want the Sync to remove the photos.

How can I record audio playing on my ipad on my new macbook pro?

I am using a music app on my ipad without "sound export" capabilities. I want to record the sound using either a) another app on my ipad, or preferably b) by using the 1/8" port on my ipad to send the sound to be recorded via software on my macbook.
When trying the latter, I can't seem to get a signal. I tried all sound settings, the software called LineIn and Audio Hijak, and still no luck :/.
Any ideas?

You should be able to import photos using Image Capture (which is built in), iPhoto or Aperture. Are you using one of these programs without success? What happens when you try?
If the camera and computer simply aren't connecting, you may want to consider getting a card reader (or, if you have the right MacBook Pro and the right card, using the one built into the MacBook Pro), then pop the memory card out of the camera and connect it directly to the computer. This is a better option anyway, since it does not drain the camera's battery to transfer the photos.
