How can i get my purchases that were made on another computer?
Are you sure this question belongs in this section (Apple Support Communities > Servers and Enterprise Software > XServe & Servers > Discussions)instead of, maybe, iTunes?

How can I get the applications that were on my old iPad on to my new iPad?
I bought a new iPad and would like te applications from my old iPad on the new one. Is there a way to transfer the applications from my Mac to the new iPad?
Yes - you can sync them from iTunes - assuming that you have all of your content in iTunes on the Mac. Do this first with the old iPad.
Transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes on the Mac and then backup the iPad and sync one last time.
Transfer purchases.

How to backup and restore from a backup
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
After you have done that - activate the new iPad. You will be given the opportunity to restore from a backup during activation and that is what you want to do. Select the iTunes backup from which to restore - connect your iPad to your Mac and restore from the iPad backup and sync with iTunes.
Your new iPad should be a clone of the old one - except you will have to enter passwords again on the new iPad. When you restore from a backup to a new device - passwords are not restored to the device.
You may want to read this about syncing with iTunes.

I've downloaded a lot of free indie music through itunes, and itunes has graciously stored all of my purchases on iCloud. The thing is, I deleted A LOT of that music from my computer, but not from iCloud, and now it's all showing up again. Is there a way I can get rid of the stuff I've deleted, without doing it one by one?
I had a similar problem when I updated to iTunes 11. The problem seems to have been solved by doing the following:
Edit > Preferences > Store. Then unclick "Show iTunes in the Clous purchases". I hope it works! -
I'm trying to download my Master CS6 onto a new hard drive because my old one crashed and I keep getting a message saying " Cannot write the file" or "I don't have permission to access the requested resource." ? What does this mean?
Yes- it is a Mac. I went through adobes system requirements and re- downloaded supportive software. The notice seems to happen near the end of the down load with the messages above. I'll look into your suggestion. Thank you- appreciated.

I have an old ipod touch, and have just purchased a new 4th Gen one. How do I get my Apps from the old one to the new one. I've had to wipe the hard drive on my Pc so they aren't in my I tunes.
- Transfer your iTunes' purchases to the new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Try making a backup of the iPod by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Backup.
- Connect your new iPod and restore the iPod from that backup if you wish. -

Yes, windows to Mac too.
iTunes: How to move [or copy] your music [library] to a new computer [or another drive] - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

my old laptop crashed how do i get my library on my new laptop?
An external bay is something like this: External 2.5 SATA to USB Hard Drive Caddy Case
A small Philips driver is usually all you need to access the hard drive in the leptop. You (or a technically adept friend) remove the drive from the old laptop, put it in the bay, hook it up to your new computer and read what can be recovered from it. Your iTunes library would typically be in X:\Users\<User>\Music\iTunes where X: is the letter assigned to the drive.
There's a chance the drive won't work at all, but often it will work for reading data even when you can no longer get it to run your operating system. Seems like a small investment to potentially recover all your lost data, not just iTunes.
If the drive won't work, then the link I posted earlier explains how you can recover all the media and data from your existing device into a new iTunes library. Once you dont this you can restore the backup of the old device to the new one.

I lost my iTunes library on my pc when the hard drive crashed. None of the data on the drive was recoverable and I did not have a backup either locally or on the cloud. Much of the music is from old vinyl and podcasts which are no longer available.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
You are able to change your Apple ID by following the instructions below. That way you will still have access to all of your previous purchases:
