I have a new HD installed and bought a new mac os x 10.6 don't have the admin password, after booting and pressing alt key a padlock shows up but don't have a password. what can i do

i just got a macbook pro harddrive wasn't good so got a new one in and bought mac os x 10.6 to install.
unfortunately after inserted the disc in the drive, and press the alt key, a padlock shows up requiring a password but a don't have the password. there is nothing on the harddrive running. is there anything you can help me with. thank you.

I'm confused
I took this to mean that your DID have an install disk.
By holding down the "C" key, you are booting to the install CD.
Alternatively, you can hold down the "option" key, to select which drive to which you want to boot.

I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

I got my Ipad stolen one month ago and bought a new. I locked the stolen one but now everytime someone calls me and my new ipad is offline the calls or messages will go to the stolen one. It is kind of creepy to know that my thiefs can read everything and send messages on my behalf to my contacts.....I have done the find my iphone application and it says that the ipad has not been used however I have family tell me that people that are not me answer the calls... Press and hold the menu and the up button simultaneously on the remote for six seconds, the Apple TV should then begin to cycle through the various resolutions available to it at 20 second intervals.. Both iPhotos open to a default library (#2) which has 300+ photos, I attempted to "switch to library" under the file tab in iPhoto and tried to choose "other library" which had most of my photos. When I attempt to open it, it doesn't do anything. I can see it and there are 2 libraries but it won't open.
Have you tried to open your old iPhoto library by double-clicking it directly, instead of using the File menu? That should work, if you are running iPhoto '11 and the library has been created by that version or an older version. DO you get an error message, if you select the library directly in the Finder?
I checked and it is the latest version of iPhoto.
Is it iPhoto '11, version 6.0.5? "Latest version" is ambiguous, because it will depend on your system version.

There may be a defect in the phone. As you bought it in the US the only place you can get it looked at is in the US.
When you say you bought it new, unlocked did you buy it directly from an Apple store? If you did not it was hacked to unlock it, which could also be your problem. Apple stores are the only place in the US that sells legitimately unlocked iPhones.

on prepaid you can get any device you like.
But you pay upfront.
People on post paid get the advantage of reduced priced devices on contracts. Prepaid is no contracts.
Any carrier will function the same way. Go online and check out Verizon pre paid policy and then look at the other carriers.
Maybe prepaid from Walmart or Boost Mobile, or Cricket etc. would be best for you. Pay for all you can eat calling, texting and data for one low price. Say $45-$55 and buy the phones they offer.

If the album was synced to your phone from your computer, it can only be removed by sycing it off. To do this, deselect the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.

No... if you do not have CS3 installed, you will enter your CS3 serial number when asked for proof of a qualifying product... and then you will enter your different CS5 serial number... every version, new or upgrade, has a unique serial number

I have the same problem and unfortunately the only way to get an iCloud ID is to set one up on an Apple device that uses the Apple OS opperating system. If you don't own one, or can't qfford one, then you are simply shut out of using the iCloud. Does it suck? Yes. Is there any solution other than buying an Apple device? No.

Content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
