I have a ! next to some songs and i have to locate them under my music under my documents and when i do it plays in my itunes is there a faster way to do this?once i fix this can i do anything from it happening again?

There really is not a faster way to link the songs. You could get the info on the missing songs to see where they sit on your computer and just move the files there before. Then you can organize your library to move them in the iTunes library folder or another place of your choosing. To keep it form happening again, the article does have a section on what to do to keep it organized when new media is added.

I am not an expert but here's my two cents:
The exclamation point means itunes cannot find the music file in order to play it. There are several possible reasons for this, including but not limited to changing the name or location of your music library/songs, or storing them on an external hard drive or device that is not currently attached. The solutions for these are different so let me know if any of these apply and we can troubleshoot. -
My ipod and itunes both are skipping to another song about in the middle of the song. It doesn't happen on all songs...only some songs. I have reset the ipod, I have done a restore, I have reloaded itunes, I have updated the ipod but still am unable to figure out why. It did not used to do this. I can't figure out any pattern to the songs it does it on versus that it doesn't do it on. Some of the songs are purchased, some are imported, etc. We are running Windows 7.
how long have you had your ipod? mine did the same but after a while you need to get a new one because of the battery...

After the latest update my phone shows I have a new TXT Message and there are NO TXT messages. How do I fix this? I regret to learn of any issues after the software update. Let's check some things out on your phone! Does the text message say who it came from? Is it a contact you message on a regular basis? Are you using the messaging application that came with the device, or a 3rd party application?
I recommend deleting any unneeded messaging threads and then powering the device off/on. Keep me posted!

I downloaded two cd's last night and I am un able to play some songs cause it tells me I am this computer is unauthorized to play some songs,I did what it said about going to store to get authorized and still will not work,not happy at all! I NEED HELP OR MY MONEY BACK NOW!
There seems to be an occasional issue with downloads from the store. They prompt for authorization when they are in fact corrupt/incomplete in some fashion. Try deleting the problem tracks (do not hide from iTunes in the cloud), close iTunes and reopen, go to iTunes Store > Qucklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer. Select a few tracks to download then click the icon that appears at the top-right of the iTunes window.. Untick the box that reads Allow simultaneous downloads. Proceed with the rest of your eligible purchases.
If you still have a problem use the Report a problem links in your account history to contact the iTunes Store support team.

I have an old black MacBook (2006) and want to migrate to my new MacBook pro i7. The migration assistant offered me the prospect of migrating via wifi. Stated at 108 hours to transfer about 400 gig. Now revised down to 85 hours. Why is this so so so long?? Is there a faster way? What happens if I cancel now. Is there a way to cancel? As there is no cancel button....
Ay suggestion sighing the next 80 hours very much appreciated.The 2006 MacBook has firewire. Use a cable like this. Boot the '06 with the T key held down until you see the Firewire icon. Connect the 400 port on the '06 to the 800 port on the i7. Run Migration Assistant. 400 GB will still take a long time, but it will be closer to 8 hours I think.

My MacBook Air 13' (2013) will occasionally start the fan at full blast, not connect to any wifi or detect any wifi, and will remove the battery icon from my menu bad as well as tell me there is no battery connected. How do I fix this? I have restarted my computer multiple times, **** it down, and ran a diagnostic test to tell me nothing is wrong and my computer is not running any applications. There is no reason for the fan to be on full blast! when I try to set the option to show my battery icon in the menu bar, it will automatically uncheck. How do I fix all of this?

I am new with iMac and I am trying to copy some file from my external HDD that a used with my PC but it does not let me also I can't delete anything from this HDD using the finder. Can somebody help me , please?
No, unfortunately, when you format a drive, it will erase all the contents. So you will need to find a temporary "storage" place to put the stuff using a PC so you have access to it. Then reformat using Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities). If only using with mac, format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and use GUID Partition scheme under Partitions/Options. After formatting, you can drag the files back.

I have a 3GS. The iPod on the phone has made duplicates of some songs. I’ve tried using the “get info” dialog box to set all the information the same but the dups are still there. Even after erasing all music with iTunes, iTunes is empty but they are still on the phone.

The cloud logo means that you purchased these songs from the iTunes Store but haven't downloaded them to your computer yet. If you want, click the clouds to download the songs and the cloud logo's will disappear for those songs too. -

Recently Apple replaced the hard drive on Mac running Yosmite 10.10.2 and now when i try to rn FaceTime, the computer says "no camera available". Does anyone no how to fix this?
Assuming there is no hardware problem try reinstalling Yosemite. If this does not work then take it back to the Apple Store.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
