I have the 64bit version of itunes on windows 7. When I connect my iphone5 it says that I don't have the correct software and that I need to install itunes 64bit! And I can go no further! I've uninstalled and reinstalled but it makes no difference. I have no access to other computers so at the moment I don't have a backup for my iphone should anything go wrong.
Please Help!Hello ekbowers,
It sounds like you have installed the 64 bit version of iTunes, but you continue to the get an error message that suggests to download the 64 bit version any time you connect your iPhone 5. I understand that you have already uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, but sometimes you may need to uninstall additional components related to iTunes to completely remove it from your system.
I recommend following the steps in this article to completely uninstall iTunes:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Once you have completely uninstalled iTunes, you can download the 65 bit version of iTunes for Windows here:
iTunes 11.0.4 for Windows 64
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1615
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Calendar message said if I wanted to save entries for more than a month I should go to settings and change to sync for 'all events'. I did this and all but repeating birthday entries disappeared. I have tried to reverse but nothing has reappeared. HELP!
Welcome to the discussions,
WHY does it claim to be 8G but my capacity now says its just 6.83
The size of you HD is calculated binary when it comes to use it, instead of decimal when companies want to advertise there products. 1 KB=1024Byte instead of 1000KB as advertised by the manufacturer. In your case this reduces the actual available space by the factor of 0.93 or approx. 7,4GB.
If you have an "other" section in your color bar showing the different types of data on your ipod, which is bigger than 500MB, this could be a sign of corrupt data caused by a sync that did not complete or copied damaged data. A restore will reduce the size to normal again.
Restoring: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you restore your ipod, iTunes will install the newest firmware first and then add back your data and settings from your last backup if you choose to "restore from backup". Every backup is replaced by the following one, so make sure to include this folder in your backup routine in case you'll have to go back.
You can check the location and size of the backup folder for your ipod here:
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
copied from: About backups http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Sorry, I can't answer your payment question, I have never used your kind of setup, maybe you can find something useful here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ -
Favour - Anyone who has run 10.2.0.1-2 on linux for more than 3 months?
If you have 10.2.0.1 or 2, on linux and you have a user that is more than three months old, can you please do me a favour:
login with your user that is 3 months old
set it up with at least 2 email addresses
setup a typical 2 week schedule for an out of hours user as follows
Week 1:
mon 12:00am - 8am EMAIL ADDRESS 1
mon 6pm - 12am EMAIL ADDRESS 2
tue - fri 12:00am - 8am, 6pm - 12am EMAIL ADDRESS 2
Sat - sun all day EMAIL ADDRESS 2
Week 2:
mon 12:00am - 8am EMAIL ADDRESS 2
mon 6pm - 12am EMAIL ADDRESS 1
tue - fri 12:00am - 8am, 6pm - 12am EMAIL ADDRESS 1
Sat - sun all day EMAIL ADDRESS 1
Now when you view the schedule, does monday display correctly? In my case, the wrong email address is displayed for monday, yet when you edit the schedule it shows correctly. Had this SR open with oracle since March, and now they are refusing to do anything else on it.
It only manifests itself on old users, a brand new user works perfectly. I have the same problem on my live 10.2.0.1 grid and my test 10.2.0.2 grid systems.
If you have the time to try it out ( i know its a minor thing), I'd appreciate it.

bazzzaBear in mind the SR was raised in March this year.
I've demonstrated the problem at 10.2.0.1, they asked me to upgrade to 10.2.0.2, so I did. Still had the issue, so I demo'ed it again for them. A newly created user does not exhibit the issue. I argued this wasn't a workaround, as all rules, UDMS etc would have to somehow migrated to the new user. A lengthy manual task, plus, a few months down the line I'm not guaranteed that I won't have the same issue again. So they raised a bug (5337476). Then they asked for a copy of the repository which I gave them. Two days after supplying the export, they want me to set up a brand new environment, to replicate the issue from scratch. I lost what little patience I had, arguing if I don't know what caused the issue, how can I be expected to replicate it? The fact I have the problem on two separate grid systems, on more than one user on each system, is stunning evidence of a problem.
Oracle keep trying to fob me off, if someone else is also experiencing the same issue it would serve as some desparately needed ammo!

I purchased Aperture then it installed and the download bar has been about halfway for more than 8 hours. What's the problem? How can i fix?

My iPad will not update apps. It states it is installing but if never completes the installation this has been going on for more than 24 hours. What do I need to do?
Try a reset:
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds
2. Until you see the Apple logo (very important) -
On Internet Explorer I can use my Discover thing to fill in any form needed but Firefox won't allow it as it keeps saying there is no available browser. How can I change that and what does that mean? I am not a computer person
-> click '''Firefox''' button and click '''Options''' -> Content panel -> place Checkmark on '''Block Pop-up windows''' -> click '''Exceptions...''' button and click '''Remove All''' button -> click Close -> click OK on Options window -> Restart Firefox
Check and tell if its working. IF it still doesn't work, do this:
* Go to your concerned website
* Right-click empty space within the page and click '''View Page Info'''
* In the '''Page Info''' window, select the '''Permissions''' panel
* Under '''Open Pop-up windows''', place/remove Checkmark on '''Use Default''' and change the setting to '''Block'''
* Close the Page Info window
* click OK on Options window -> Restart Firefox

My iPhone has been in Korea for more than 48 hours, has anyone else had this problem?
So I ordered and it said it shipped the next day, which is great. But ever since it's arrived in Korea it hasn't moved in over 48 hours. I thought this was odd so I did some research and I've seen other people have their iPhone arrive and depart Korea the same day! Has anyone else had this long of a wait?

So my iPhone left the Fedex Facility in Ontario, California on Feb. 4th at 7AM and has been in transit ever since! That's 55 hours!!! I live in Los Angeles, California only 1 hour away, where the hell is this thing going?!?! I could understand if it arrived at a closer facility and was waiting til monday to deliver it but it has been in transit this whole time! Did the trucker realize he had a truck full of iPhones and just take off? It still says estimated delivery: Feb. 7th by 3PM, I hope this is true.

I get a blue message saying that the system encountered a problem and had to shut down. It then have to reboot. This problem coincided with an attack on my Yahoo my account when I was using FireFox. This has also caused an upload of a program called 'WhiteSmoke Translator' to my computer. My Internet Explorer works fine though. What can I do?
There is a similar known issue (see [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=614958 bug 614958]) that is fixed in Firefox 4.0b8 (release in a few days).
But I am not sure your issue is related. It can also be caused by a spyware or a virus. Scan your computer with anti-virus and anti-spyware softwares. -
I used the about:cache function and clicked on the option to view the files, but it only shows today's date. I have history for much further back. Have all the cache files been removed? If not, where can I find them? It's somewhat urgent.
Thanks. :)this is normal behaviour - the cache is only a temporary file store & sites can specify if/how long data should be stored. everything that isn't showing up in about:cache is gone

I have updated it to. iOS 6.1.3 but it still will not connect. I cannot log into my iTunes account on it either. Why? Thanks for reading
For anyone who had the same problem, I fixed it by setting my time and date back to automatic. I heard that some people solved in different way for their phones. Try different things it will eventually work. Thanks

My old school palm pre was much friendlier than the IPHONE 3G. I was able to sync my outlook calendars and contacts via wi-fi effortlessly. I tunes did sync once or twice in the six months that I have had it, but more often it acts like it is syncing and ultimately delivers a message like "no calendar application is supported". Why the back and forth. Very frustrating after literally hours of trying to sync my phone with my Outlook calendar and contacts. HELP!!!!
What version of MS Office do you have installed? Have you tried re-installing office over top of itself? It may not be properly registered with the OS.

[Start Conference With UserID: u0]Hi,
I can explain this in English.
A Screen Share is made up of two parts in iChat.
It is an Audio Chat with the Screen Share part along side.
The Screen Share is a VNC connection
The Router has to be using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) as the port the Screen Sharing part is on is a Random port.
Also check your ISP does not block VNC connections
The 10 Sec error message means something outside of iChat cause the connection to be broken.
