if the error message was about a missing archive, you need to place both the exe and 7z files in the same directory for photoshop elements. and then do the same for premiere elements.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. I have just just installed a new version of itunes. When i tried to run the new version it came up with the message "The file ituneslibrary.itl cannot be read because it was created by newer version of itunes.
I installed the new version because itunes had not recognised my ipod nano 5G, and told me to reinstall. Itunes selected which version to install, so I don't understand what is going on. To add insult to injury it installed a pile of malware which I am still trying to get rid off.

I have a mac running Yosemite and I am attempting to install the trial version of muse I can download the Creative Cloud Installer dmg but when I attempt to run it to install muse it loads half way on the screen then quits and the status bar is gone, I have adjusted privacy settings but can not seem to get it to go past the half way point. Itunes will no longer work on my Windows 8 PC. When I attempt to start the program a message says: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I have tried to uninstall iTunes but the Windows uninstaller will not delete the program I get a message that says: A network error occurred while attempting to read file: C:\Windows|Installer|iTunes.msi. How do I get iTunes to work again?
Whentrying to uninstall iTunes (the first program that must be uninstalled per the instructions) I get a message: A network error occurred while attempting to read file: C:\Windows|Installer|iTunes.msi. I can't even uninstall iTunes?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:

(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I recently purchased an upgrade to Photoshop CS6. (Dec 9 2014). I have today downloaded the file (Photoshop_13_LS16.7z
This downloaded OK
When I tried to run the file (Winzip) I got the following message
"Installer failed to initialise. Could be due to a missing file. Please download Abobe support adviser."
I tried to do that and it told me Adobe support adviser no longer exists.
Could you please advise a solution.Extract it to a different location inside a dedicated folder and make sure to not destroy the file and folder hierarchy inside the archive. also run the install with sufficient user privielges and security stuff turned off.

problem with updated find my iPhone (FMi) app: when I attempt to open the FMi app, it tells me that I need to be a registered developer and run iOS7 to do so; is anyone else having this problem? I got the app as a regular update to my existing FMi app which worked great.
The problem is being reported in the news media, yes. Apparently someone at Apple jumped the gun and uploaded the update before it was ready. They'll probably issue another update shortly, I would expect, but you can go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. If you have a backup copy of the older version of the app, remove the newer version, restore the old version to iTunes on your computer, and resync.
Update: Well, that was certainly quick. As of a short time ago, various sites are reporting that the Find My iPhone app is no longer displaying the previous error message. If it still is for you, delete it from your iPhone and re-download from the iTunes Store.

I am trying to reinstall Windows (would not launch). I removed the partition and started over. I downloaded the support files and Windows 7 iso file to a USB drive. However, when I try to run the setup.exe program I get the message "this program cannot be run in DOS mode." I was successful before, what am I doing wrong this time?
Try a restart.
If that doesn't fix the problem, shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application unistaller. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

attempted to mail an email with a large attachment file. One of the addresses was bad. When my Outlook is running, the Mac tries to send it and shows the progress. However, when I look in my Outbox the files are not there. It does show up in the Outbox progress section but I can not delete it when it is there.

I create a project w/iMovie and I have two problems: When I try to finalize the project iMovie crashes; when I share to DVD sometimes it crashes also; if I can successfully send it to DVD and then burn a DVD there are wavy lines on the screen. I'm uising photos in my project, not video. Help!
You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts.
