I have a problem when starting my Macbook. A message saying /Library/StartupItems/Icon has not been started due to not having the right security settings. So far it is not under HD og system folder, nor can't find via terminal. Any good suggestions?
I have tried to delete it via terminal but no luck, have also run a disk permissions repair but no luck.
I still shows when starting the mac or restarting it.
Any of you have a good suggestion of what do??
Just hate when it appears every time I start the Mac
What items do you have in the Startup Items of your System Preference for your present login user? Maybe removing and adding them back in will help?
/Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Resources
includes the iTunes Helper application in case you need to reconnect it later.

Intego will make your Mac run very poorly, unacceptably so. Never install such junk on a Mac. -

If this is indeed the first time that you have used your Apple ID in the iTunes or App store you do need to have a payment method the first time you set it up:
Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
If you've already created your Apple ID, you'll need to add a payment method when you first use it to sign in to the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. But you can optionally remove the payment methodafter you sign in to the store. You won't be asked for a payment method again until you make your first purchase.

the problem have when the battery is low, still have 1 led check, but when the battery is fully charge, it become normal again. Please help me, do my macbookpro have a problem with hardware ?

It seems as though it is a hardware issue. You may try bringing the MacBook Pro to an Apple Store (depending on where you are.) Be sure to bring the picture that you have here. -
MacBook denying pw acces when starting up, by definitely using the right passwort.
Hey guy's I got a problem since yesterday. After my MacBook have been on stand by and went down causing low battery, the acces by using the right pw is denied.
Nothing works to get into it. The MacBook is still on stand by.
Someone out there having the same problem? Or am I the first one? ;-)Dreained it to the state of sleep nd then waited for the sleep light to go off.
A couple of hours passed after that when I returned to my desk and plugged in the adapter.
Did you wait 5+ hours? Per article - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH7261 "After your computer goes to sleep, turn it off or allow it to sleep for five hours or longer."

open activity monitor and close all Adobe related applications
navigate to: /Library/Application support/Adobe
In that directory you will see a folder named OOBE - Rename that folder to OOBEold
Navigate to: MAC HD /Application/Utilities directory
In there you will see a folder called "Adobe Application Manager" - delete it

First, I searched online and found a site with a If2k_Remover_V2.zip file, but whenever I try to open the link, a page comes up saying,

Any thoughts on this?
Also, I see the if2k folder in the Library/StartUpItems; is it something I can just drag into the Trash? Or would that be a bad move?Did you ever figure this out? I just upgraded to Lion on my Air and I have the same issue.

Download update 4 for Intel x64 or Amd if your notebook have an Amd CPU of Visual studio 2012 and trya again. Before you can controll if the installer install library of visual studio 12 during installation and see if the library missing is on windows\system32.
