I have a question about how to contact HR with e-mail.
I read the rules about anything about HR is not allowed, but I also read to contact HR directly, so I won't ask anything further here. My question is, how? I searched for an e-mail, but all I have been able to find is a phone number I can't ring since I have no phone, just internet. Thank you.

Have a question about how to set up users and what they access
I have just loaded logic studio on my computer on my admin account but i dont want it on the any other account and when i log in to another account on the same computer the program shows up. How do you **** let the admin account use the program and not the users? what do i have to set and where? do i need to go into users accounts or sharing? i cant seem to find anything. thanks for the help.
Try looking at Parental Controls, in >System Preferences...>Accounts.
Alternatively, you could put Logic in your user folder (/Users/your user name/Applications) (you'll most likely have to make that Applications folder, as well as make sure permissions are set so only you can access it, by using the "Get Info" window. -
Want to get Match but I have a question about how it will work on a computer I don't normally use.
I used to use my parents computer to connec to my ipod. Since then I stopped using a computer and have only been using iOS devices. I was wondering if I sign into iTunes on my parents computer that has a bunch of songs ripped from CDs and buy iTunes Match and throw all the songs on there to the cloud then sign out from the computer will I be able to upload or even download those songs from the cloud onto my iOS devices?
An iOS device is only a client for iTunes Match. No scanning, matching or uploading is done from it. A computer running iTunes is required for that. However, any music you purchase from the store on an iOS device is automatically added to iTunes Match.

Hi all,
I'm new to editing with proxies in Premiere and have some questions about how to handle the relationship with After Effects. Say I have a rough cut (with proxies) and I want to send it to AE to do some effects. The simplest thing to do seems to be to replace the proxies with the originals in Premiere, send the project to AE and do my thing. But if I then want to send the project back to Premiere, it will involve the original files, which are too machine-intensive for me to edit. In theory, it seems like there should be a way to send the project with original footage to AE, do effects, send it back to Premiere, and then replace it with proxies to do further editing while retaining the effects.
This leads to a confusion about how AE works. When I do an effect, am I correct in assuming that it does nothing to the original file? If that's the case, it seems like it shouldn't matter (in the editing stage) what file AE "applies" an effect to (proxy or original). But I feel like there's a hitch in this workflow. The same question could also be asked about going back and forth in Speed Grade.
Perhaps there is no real answer to this and the best option is to save effects and grading for after I have picture lock, but sometimes that's not entirely possible or convenient, etc.
Hopefully this makes some sense—It's a little hard to explain.

When you setup your Mac it shouldv'e made an admin account, are you not running from that account, or did you somehow change it to a Managed account??? -

I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! Hi I have a question about shooting in Raw with my Canon EOS 6d.
I'm in the process of learning photography and my goal was to start shooting in raw.
I have Photoshop CS5. When I tried to edit my images in raw I received an error message stating, "The photoshop camera raw plug-in did not recognize the format. If these files are from a camera, you may need to update your camera raw plug in."
In researching the issue I read that to edit in raw you need a camera model requirement of at least 7.3 which only works with CS6. My version of CS5 is 6.0.0.205. Being new to all this I see that my options are to upgrade to CS6 or convert by using DNG converter and paying a monthly fee. Two things I know nothing about and don't know which is would be more beneficial.
I'd appreciate any advise on which route to go and how upgrade and what it may cost. THANKS in advance!

That is correct. Your camera was first supported by Camera Raw 7.3. Camera Raw 7.3 will not work with CS5. You need CS6 or CC.

It all depends on your preferred workflow and your budget.
Using the DNG converter is free. There is no monthly fee. You use the converter to convert all Raw files from the EOS 6D to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5. That's an extra step every time - every photo. Some people don't like the extra step. Others don't mind.

Love the Cloud Idea, but I have Many questions about it

I love the Adobe Cloud Idea, but I was wondering if it is the right for me. I have a very peculiar situation, my job takes me to many different places around the world.
- My Next job is taking me to Peru and I noticed that it is not on the available countries. I live in the US and I will subscribe from here, but if I go to Peru, would I be able to use it from there, before the 30 day renewal? And what about If I spend 3 month? I read somewhere that I ony have to have an internet connection, but does that mean that if I am in peru with internet nothing will happen? or does it mean that I ned an internet connection and able to be in a country that it is available? and how does the 30 day work? if I am subscribed, do I need to re do everything or it basically confirms that I have "cloud installed" and then just charges me?
- Another question that I have is more about how does the subscrition work. I subscribe from my Deskop, can I use it on my laptop? The question goes mainly because sometimes I work from home on my desktop, sometimes I use my laptop at work, sometimes on my lapotp in a different country and sometimes with someone else laptop. So am I able to go back and forth from desktop to laptop and different computers?. I think technically the question is, The subscription is for the Account Or is it for the IP address meaning that only one computer can use it.
- Something that was told to me at work but was definetly differentfrom my understanding is the subscrition. My understanding was that I can use it for a month, pay that month, the next month unsubscribe - don't pay, and the next one pay it again and be able to use it. This is something that even though it's not a huge issue, But I watched a lot of videos for the realease of this all with Adobe spokepersons and the way it was advertised was that you can pay 49.99 for one month have it all and the next month if you don't want to use it you don't have to and come back in another month and it will be the same with the 49.99. again I love the idea, but that for me was false advertising and really got me nervous about it because I do not know what will happen in the Future with all of this.
Everything I do usually comes from my own pocket my job pays for my some stuff but I am a contractor for them so the whole cloud Idea was brilliant I would include the 50 dollars in the pricing for that job whneI get a job from them, WIth the Info I am getting I would first have to pay more and not only that I am stuck Paying the 50 dollars for a year which comes to less than buying the softwae but still means that even If I am not working on it I would still have to pay.

1) Is there a limit of how many entries, songs, albums, art work, can iTunes handle? I have a hunch iTunes is like a database program and am curious about its capacity. I have two 2-TB drives and am wondering what is going to happen when I fill these two drives up. Other than disk space, what are iTunes limitations?
2) Talking about these two drives. How can I use both as a source for my iTunes library. Can I have two folders selected as the source of my library? I am not sure if I have enough disk space to hold all my music, but I do also have a 1TB almost empty drive is need be.
3) OK now comes te real question. I am sure that I have duplicates in my library and I sure would love to clean my library up.Possiby if I do get to clean it up, I can save some disk space and that is always a good thing. Any good techniques, software, techniques to follow while ripping music to help keep my library organized. Please be as detailed as you can.

As far as I know you're going to run out of disc space before you hit any limits. Each object in iTunes has a 64-bit key to access it. That said as your library grows it will get less responsive as bigger indexes take exponentially longer to process.

iTunes wants to manage everything inside one big folder. Some idiosyncrasies with the way it manages things if you have to move to a new drive means it is best if you can stick to that plan. If your library grows larger then you'll have to take manual control of where some or all of your content is stored. I use a variation of a script called ConsolidateByMoving which you could adapt for your needs.
