I have a Rs232/Rs485 converter(CV 24).How can I connect it from a rs485 to a rs232 cable?

I have a RS 485(8 serial outputs) and a motor with a rs232 cable. I don´t have a comunication between the motor and the card...also I have a rs232/rs485 converter. How can I connect the converter to the card. Give me all the possible solutions.

First of all make sure your motor is RS232. If you are using one of NI's 8 port RS485 cards (http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=1846〈=US) it should include a dongle that takes the connector out to individual 9-pin dsub connectors.
From there, most RS232 cables have 9-pin dsub connectors and the converter should just plug in between the cables. Here is a link that shows the pinouts and voltage differences of both protocols.

However, these devices rarely work well. If your motor is RS232 they I would suggest you purchase a RS232 board. NI has a new line of boards that are extremely fast and easy to use. They can hit custom baud rates and will show up as normal COM ports on your computer.
In the long run you will have fewer problems.

Here are some suggestions:
1) Check the manual the Keithley manual to see how to configure the RS-232.
    On some models you need set Factory defaults to USER and turn on the RS-232.
    Also there may be a setting for SCPI which you want on (probably on by default).
2) On your PC - open Device Manager. See if a COM port exists and is functional.
     You must get this working before continuing.
      You can set the COM port parameters by right clicking and selecting Properties.
     (On some PCs the onboard ports can be disabled in the BIOS)
3) If step two was OK, open MAX (Measurement and Automation eXplorer).
    On the left side, click on Devices and Hardware.
    Click on Serial and Parallel.
    Go to the COM port you found in Device Manager.
    Open a VISA Test Panel.
    Now I don't have one I can look at right now, so this is general idea:
   Configure the COM port to match the Keithley settings (should be OK if step 2 worked)
   Go to the (I think) Input Output tab (you want to send a command)
   The command string input should already have a *IDN? entered, if not, type it in.
   Click on the Query button to send the command and check the response.
   If you get an ID string back (Company name, Model, FW Version ...) then it works.
   (Disregard an error saying it did not get enough charcters back.)

Just delete what you want and you will get a prompt that you are about to delete it plus an option to delete from iCloud. Make sure that option is unchecked and then you should be able to download it again.

I bought a Power Mac G4 (version=3.3) second hand from my company. It is running Mac OS 10.2.8 and Microsoft Office X. I wish to connect it to my BT broadband hub. However, it does not appear to have an AirPort card and even if it did I was told that the BT hub mainly works with microsoft rather than apple products. Can anyone advise me how I can connect and what products I need to buy?

Not true. Those adaptors were intended for the iMac G3 (long outdated) and only the iMac G3. All G4 machines just take AP Cards the way they are.

Actually I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to OS X Leopard. Tiger is no longer supported by hardly anybody (Apple, Adobe, etc) and Leopard is still the minimum for most things nowadays. That message indicates that a read timeout occured. This usually suggests either a cabling problem (the RS-485 pin-out is in the NI-Serial manual pdf), a port settings problem (baud rate, etc.), a COM port number problem (using COM3 instead of COM4, etc.), or a communication protocol problem (incorrect command sent to the device, etc.). I suggest double checking your cabling and port settings, then run your vi with NI-SPY open to see what type of port activity is occuring.

There are some countries where FaceTime is not included in the software of the phone, due to certain laws.
If you bought a phone in those countries, FaceTime can not be installed at all.
FaceTime may not be available in certain countries. Find more information about what's available in your device's region of purchase.

The only other reason for FaceTime not being on your phone would be if you have restrictions for FaceTime set up in Settings/General/Restrictions.
If an app is restricted, it can't be found on any of the screens on the phone. Disable the restrictions and the app will be back again.
