I have a song that shows in the playlist but suddenly will not play. Itunes thinks that last time it was played was the time it "shorted" out and did not play. How do I get it back? Thanks.
Try deleting the entries from the Movies part of your library (i.e. where you are trying to play them) and see if you get the cloud symbol next to them for re-downloading in the Purchased link
As your screenshot shows your account id I've asked the hosts to remove it

Can you be more specific as to what is missing? What was the function of these ''glyphs''? You might want to try starting Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the ''Option'' key while Firefox is starting. If you disable all themes and add-ons and everything looks right again, you can try turning things back on one by one until you find the culprit.
Do you mean the icons for your bookmarks are missing? If that's the case, you should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/latest-firefox-issues#os=mac&browser=fx9 this article] that discusses some of the issues with the latest build of Firefox.
There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

I have downloaded the HD version of a movie from itunes, but when I sync it to my iPad 2 it will not play. It appears that it is on the iPad, but it will not play. Is this because it is HD, and if so is there a way to change it from being HD? Thanks
I'm having a similar problem ... just used my iPad 2 to purchase the Bourne trilogy and it downloaded fine but I did not try to play it right away. Then I plugged the iPad into the computer and it downloaded the SD versions of the movie and I used iTunes to sync my movies. Then I tried to play it and it said it could not open the movie. I then did a full iPad restore and did a fresh sync and now I get the Cannot Opne pop up. Did you ever find an answer to your question?

In ical, there is supposed to be a on my mac menu on the left. Mine is not there, how do I get it back?
There is that option in Mail > select the show option towards the top toolbar on the left.
I have never seen that option in iCal. -

I installed google chrome and added it to my applications folder and it works but my desktop still has the icon of the chrome volume/disk and when i right click it gives an option to eject but it will not delete how can I get rid of it?
Drag it to the trash icon in your dock. This is a disk image, and you need to "eject" it, to get rid of it.

My videos have been transferred from my old LG chocolate phone which had a sim card to the new iphone 5s ...but they are coming accross as photos and will not play...I do not want to lose these videos and I am almost ready to return the new iphone 5s...help

the bank site does have "https//:" on it, but no security lock shows in the lower right hand corner. It always was there before.
The Padlock is no longer part of Firefox; it was removed beginning in Firefox 4. The padlock shows that there is a secure connection but does not supply additional information. You could have made a typographical error and still have been connected to a secure connection. The padlock was replaced in Firefox 3 with the Site Identity Button. I Had to reinstall iTunes. Now the column on the far left that showed my iPhone, setups, options and the like is missing. How do I turn it back on?
With the current version of iTunes the left-hand sidebar that you could get to show has been removed. Now when a device is connected you should get a device icon towards the top left of the iTunes screen next to the content type icons - click on that and you should get a list of categories down the left-hand side for the phone, one set selecting and syncing content from your computer's iTunes, and then a second set for showing what is currently on the phone.

HT1933 The movie I downloaded does not play, how can i get my money back
I have downloaded a film and the picture has frozen and you can hear the movie start but nothing happens. How can I either get it working or get my money bak?
If this is on your iPad then you've tried closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
And/or tried a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If neither of those work, then depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the filme from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films or if it re-downloads with the same problem then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
I installed iTunes to a new computer and authorized that computer but my music is grayed out. How do I get access to my music?

You can easily set up the iPod to automatically sync to your current iTunes library (or just do a Restore), but that will replace the iPod's existing content with content from your current iTunes library (erasing the iPod). If your old computer was "retired" gracefully and you were able to transfer its complete iTunes user data to your new computer, there is no problem because all of the songs on the iPod now are already in your current iTunes library. However, if there are songs on the iPod that are not in your current iTunes library, those songs will be lost. That may be a problem...
If you want to preserve what is on the iPod, you can try setting the iPod to Manually manage music and videos. I believe you can do that from an iTunes library that is not the iPod's currently associated library. Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see its Summary settings screen. Check the box for Manually manage music and videos. (If iTunes puts up any warning about erasing or replacing the iPod's existing content, Revert the change and cancel out.) Click Apply. The iPod is no longer set to automatically sync. But you can add new content manually to what is already on the iPod. And the songs should not be grayed out.
However, you cannot use iTunes to transfer songs on the iPod to your current iTunes library (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). If there are songs on the iPod that are not in your computer's iTunes library, you should eventually "offload" those song files because your iPod can easily break, become corrupted, or get lost. iTunes syncs content in one direction only (from computer to iPod), but there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like iPod "transfer," you should get some links, including a CNET article on the topic.
Once all of your songs are "consolidated" in your current iTunes library, you can set up the iPod for automatic syncing to that library.
