I have a trial version of Photoshop and Lightroom installed with a view of taking out a subscription. Some of the features in this trial version do not work is this just because it is a trial version.

Is it recommended to do?
It's not recommended nor is it not recomemnded. It's entirely your own decision. As Curt said, there are certain side effects, in addition to file associations also shared components possibly breaking down (PDF libraries), so if it's not that critical, leave them in place. otehrwise you may have to reinstall CS6 after you have removed the other versions.

Please download CC desktop app via Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial and then start downloading Photoshop and Lightroom.
In case that also comes in .exe then download PS and LR via Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links – Creative Cloud 2014 Release | ProDesignTools

...and I can't find a redemption code. Photoshop and Lightroom were downloaded from Creative Cloud. None of the help guides from Adobe are answering my question. If anyone can help - THANKS

Where can I find the download page for trial versions of Lightroom and Photoshop for Mac OS 10.6.8?
It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

so CS6 version of Photoshop would be apt for you.

Cannot download full versions of Photoshop and Lightroom

Hi, I purchased a plan for photographers as a part of Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition and cannot download Photoshop or Lightroom in a different way than as trials. You, Adobe, have my money already and everything else seems to be ok. How can I download the full versions??? This is really disappointing

Image printing problem with Photoshop and Lightroom specifically with 11X14 cuts off top of image and moves bottom border up. Windows 7 OS - Epson Printer is working properly.

Have an unprecedented problem with printing 11X14 photos in both PS and Lightroom. The printer is operataing properly. Printing 81/2X11 correctly. Have double and triple checked all the printing settings and they are correct. Have checked with friends to no avail. This problem started yesterday. Widows 7 OS. Need help.

You show the OS receiving an image from Photoshop, and the OS starting the Epson print driver and handing it part of the image, the driver connects to the printer, then the print driver fails. It looks like a bug in the Epson rasterizer, or the printer communication.
You really need to talk to Epson. Photoshop isn't involved in that error.

Photoshop and Lightroom freezing with supported graphics card

Good Morning,
I'm looking for some help to correct a problem. I'm sending this request to Adobe, Asus, Corsair, and Intel. I'm a professional photographer and this is my new computer to support the Nikon D800.
Problem:
When working in both Photoshop (CS5) and Lightroom 4 my computer is freezing and I'm having to do a kill restart to unfreeze the computer. This is happening when doing simple processes like panting with the air brush in Photoshop.
I have to correct this issue it is my livelihood. Which of the components do I need to replace and with what specifically?
Computer:
i7 3970k CPU Intel
Asus Sabertooth X79 motherboard
Corsair 8- 8GB for a total of 64GB of ram (un-buffered)
Two drives both Western Digital
Graphics card is a Adobe supported ASUS GeForce GTX570
Windows 7 professional
Attempted corrections:
Up dated graphics card drivers, and Windows, check and unchecked Open GL Draw but it freeze in both setting. Follow all of Adobe's set up guide lines. Follow the recommendations from NAPP. Had some bad sticks of ram waiting on Corsair RMA replacement. Computer has 16 GB of ram in it at the current time but the freezing characteristics are the same with 64 GB and 16 GBs of ram.

I am running Win 7 Prof on a Xeon processor with 12 GB RAM. Occasionally I experience random freezes of my system but as far as I can tell neither Lr nor Photoshop are involved.
I never found a cause since my Event Viewer does not give any error messages.
I have searched the Win 7 forum at http://www.sevenforums.com/#windows-7-help-support

They say they fixed it with a hotfix but it seems it still does occur. My last freeze was on May 3, 2012.

My Apple TV sees no WiFi networks and the WiFi MAC shows as NA. Is this normal for an uninitialized Apple TV or does this indicate WiFi is not working on this Apple TV?

When I am standing near the Apple TV with my iPhone, the iPhone lists a number of nearby WiFi networks, including the one in my home. I have running the Apple TV over ethernet up till now, so unfortunately the unit is out of warranty.

That is a modem/wifi problem. Contact your ISP.

Photoshop cc14 and lightroom installed and working, but when starting creative cloud program it says: No program installed, mand only shows old programs like PS6 to install

Hello there!
When I start the creative cloud, I get the information that no programs are installed and I can download PS6. But I have installed the latest versions of photoshop and lightroom working properly.
My System is a windows 7 64Bit PC.
I had to deinstall the creative cloud program because it didn´t react some days ago. Then I installed it again and now I have this wron behaviour.
Does anybody know how to adapt the creative cloud program correctly?

Make sure that you had not changed the language on Creative Cloud desktop
Also try to perform below steps
On Creative Cloud desktop top Right side click on Gear icon and Quit Creative Cloud App
Then Right click on Creative Cloud desktop shortcut and choose properties.
Then Click on compatibility tab
Under compatibility mode ""Make sure "Run this program in compatibility mode for " box is unchecked.
If it is checked, uncheck it and click on Apply, Ok. Then launch Creative Cloud App and try.

Instalation of Photoshop and Lightroom

I already have Photoshop and Lightroom installed on my computer. If I purchase Creative Cloud will I then download Photoshop and Lightroom and install all new versions or will Creative Cloud simply upgrade my two existing applications?

No the CC Cloud is different from the perpetual licensed products. Those are yours to keep forever. The Cloud version disappear when your subscription runs out.
Of course thisis if you can download the Creative Cloud desktop app. I can't. I keep getting the message Creative Cloud desktop failed to install. Done it about 6 times. Restarted the computer twice. Window 7 PRO. Don't want to run clean tool as it only give the option to wipe out both CC and CS-PS6 and have too many specialized settings in CS-PS6

Photoshop and lightroom re-install

I have Photoshop and lightroom installed but I need to re-install Windows on my pc because of problems I'm having. I have an extremely slow internet connection. Are there certain files I can backup that will reduce the re-install time of PS and lightroom? Otherwise I am looking at a couple of days to download.

Products from the Creative Cloud subscription needs to be downloaded from the Creative Cloud desktop app only. We cannot back up the files.
Once you have re-installed your Windows you can download the Creative cloud desktop app by login in to the below link:

Once you have signed in click on Apps tab and try downloading the Photoshop and Lightroom.
