I have an ipad and have a 'GOOD' app which i think i have to have to download my purchased i tunes. But it wont open in good becasue i need a password/account - can anyone help explain this, and how to access my itunes
In the past i set up a KNOWCLOUD on a computer which is now defunct. So, i have all my photos and a few itunes stuck in the scam KNOWCLOUD and have now purchased an ipad and i phone. When i try to down load my photos it says save to GOOD, but when i open good it says i need to contact my administrator for password and username. Any suggestions ?
I have the same problem , i've converted my videos to mp4 , by using different programmes and tried to open them in itunes but it didnt .
Some people suggested the following although it didnt help me , it might help you
One suggested to paste the videos that you want in automatically add to itune ( go to your music folder m then click on itunes , then itunes media , and you will find it there )
Others suggested to o to the ontrol panal , then programmes and features m then lick on quick time (. Or itunes) then Change then repair
If it didnt help. And you find another method m please let me know

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Can Anyone Help Explain this to me?
When you go to your usage, under lifetime (after a full charge) it will say 2 hours... I don't really know what "lifetime" means, but I would think that's the time the battery will last... Am I wrong in assuming this, and if i'm right isn't 2 hours rather low for a fully charged battery?
Also, my usage is showing 1 hour 47 minutes... I've barely touched my phone all day... what's the deal?Well the usage that we were referring to in the original post is under Settings>>Usage, but I think you are referring to something different...
Maybe they are guess-timating the percentage by how much green they are seeing on their battery (i.e. 50% is half bar) -

I've tried to track down this event that keeps on repeating so much its making my system log reach almost 60mb! Below is a copy of the log...

First of all how long has it been that you ran any type of a utility that clears out your System Logs? Yasu (outside link) is my favorite and well named. Tip is to never let your logs get into that 60MB condition.
As far as the error goes, unless it is choking on it or something isn't working, I would say it is a benign, harmless, or oops! kind of an error.

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

How did you get your songs onto your iPod Touch?
If purchase directly from iTunes you can download them again.
If your iPod is synced to iTunes on a Windows PC, then, sync your iPod to that computer.
If this is your first Mac, are you migrating from a Windows PC?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times, but keep getting an error message that "the registry settings for importing and burning CD's and DVD's is missing". Can anyone help with this?

Since the guy on the other discussion clearly had no desire to help anyone, I thought I'd ask here instead... can anyone help with this?Open iTunes and navigate to the app store. Select a free app to download. A simple way to do this is to scroll down to the top free apps box on the right hand side, hover your mouse over the first item and click on the free button that appears when you hover over it.
A pop up will open asking you to sign in with your Apple ID click "create new account", click continue to create your account. Check the box to accept the store terms and conditions and click continue.
Enter your email address, password, security question, and date of birth, click continue. Now, you will be asked to provide a payment method. Note now that the last option says "none". -
Can anyone help me figure out how to sync my ipod with my purchased music? I have used several computer and at one point synced my ipod with a computer that only had about half of my music. My other computers are no longer working. Not sure how to get my purchased music back onto my ipod?

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

I have no recollection of setting up two but it seems I did somewhere along the line.. I have jimkells and the second is [email protected] .. so when I logged in as the other acc there it was and I was able to update .. could it be FCPX was bought on another user account ??

My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud? -
I bought garage band from the app store and downloaded it to my mac mini. When i try to open a screen comes up explaining i need to down load missing files. I do this but when try to open GB again the same thing keeps happening! Can anyone help.

In similar cases it helped to remove the GarageBand "Preferences" file from the User Library.
Open the folder
your home folder > Library > Preferences
and move the file "com.apple.garageband.plist" to the Desktop.
Then try again to launch GarageBand.
