My IPhone 1 says i have to sync it to itunes, so when i do that it says" I have to type im my passcode and i dont know where to type in the code, the screen only says slide for emergany call, an i in a circle that when u hit that it says codes for- imei and iccid and it has been like this for a few months, i dont know how to get my phone to work.

Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, or on a backup of your library ? If you have it on a backup then you should be prompted to authorise the account (and I think that the id will show) if you try to add it to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library.

Force close the app following these steps
1. Hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top edge until the "Slide to Power Off" screen appears
2. Hold the Home button on the front of the device
While holding the Home button, you should see the screen go back to your Home screen
If this doesn't happen, do a hardware reset by holding the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time until the white apple appears on the screen

If the messaging app is crashing at launch, and it is not fixed by a reboot, you will have to restore the device to factory settings, and then choose the set up as new option. Restoring to factory, and then restoring from a backup will return the issue to your iPhone.
If it is all saved to iCloud or your computer(outside of iTunes) then go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings. This will erase all info from your iPhone! So be sure you have your stuff saved, erase & in the start menu up choose "Set Up As New," sign in with iCloud/Apple ID, get back to texting like a boss.

I am in my iTunes application and when I press the link to connect to the iTunes Store, it starts churning, and churning, but never connects. It has churned for hours and when I finally click the "X" to close it, I get error code 11222.

You do not need the iPhoto library upgrader for a library created by iPhoto 9.5.1 - only for libraries form iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) and older

I got a new ipod recently and i cannot downloade any music onto it. this is because i tried to download the new itunes which it said i needed and now when i try to install it. Welcome to the Apple community JB.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.
