Chances are the pinnacle is producing .avi files or MPEFG1/2 streams - iTunes may know how to decode the audio but not the video. Download Handbrake and try running the Pinnacle files through it and adding to iTunes - use Universal format unless you have a specific device in mind.
Keep copies of the originals.
Another option might be to try to install Perian. Can't remember if the Apple MPEG2 plugin allows MPEG2 to be played in iTunes.

Sorry you are having problems. Can you give an example preferably of some small publicly available file and the site you are trying to download it from ?
As a simple example of a download (ok it is a .png image file not not a .exe file) but can you try to download a copy of your avtar/icon, as used on these forums. In Windows one method is that you right click & should get an option save. <br/> Mine alongside uses the link

Are you able to download such an image, then see it in your download manager, and find it on your computer.
Once you have got Firefox to save your binary file you can use it. In the case of the .exe file you are trying to download that should be usable as intended with your Windows Operating System, the avatar also should be easily opened and viewed.
P.S.
You could try installing the add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/opendownload-10902/ if you wished to adapt Firefox to run .exe files instead of just save them. -

In fact, now I just see: INTERNET, COMPUTADOR (PC) e AJUSTES (MENU/SETTINGS) - I'm brazilian and I'm not so sure about the name of MENU in EUA Apple TV.
Anyway, I remember that until yesterday I could see FILMES (MOVIES) at the first MENU, and now it's no longer available.

I am having trouble with my wife's new iPhone 5s. She can receive her telus email but can not send any email what did I do wrong in setting up her account on her iPhone? I tried to just copy the info from her old iPhone.
The sending of email is accomplished via the SMTP server. Take a moment to get back into Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars and select the account. Go to the SMTP server and check to make sure that username and password are entered in all of the appropriate places. If you cannot get it to work after trying to just change those settings, remove the account from the phone and recreate it. When recreating, make sure you enter the username and password in every location, even if the phone says optional. Make sure you have the settings from either the email provider or from the other device. Make sure that SSL is on or off as necessary.

I purchased the Adobe pdf Pack to combine 50 PDF files to one and when I select them from my folder it claims "the files are not in a format supported for conversion to PDF". They already are pdfs, what am I doing wrong?

Can't get iTunes to sync from hp laptop to iPod shuffle. What am I doing wrong?

You are looking in the right place for all that information! You do need to be completely logged on (at the top right) in order to see all the values.
If you are not getting the best signal, you can also change the security type under Wifi settings and Security. Various types can work better with certain computers. Do not make it an open network however.
What zip code are you in that this is happening? Is it only indoors? Let us know and we can take a look on the network side.

Everytime I try to download a new version of itunes it says it will take 7 hours, then when I come back and check it I have an error that says Ive disconnected. What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to record my screen on my iMac for a youtube video. I am using Debut (a screen recording program) and whenever I record the screen, the resulting video is always only showing my mouse movements and not anything else i.e the actual windows etc. This also happens when I share my screen on skype! While my Library is turned on in iTunes, I keep getting the following message from my AppleTV: "Could not connect to Chuck's Library." What am I doing wrong. I am a newbie, just getting started. Please Help? Having trouble opening camera raw files. Already downloaded Camera Raw update. I have a pc.
If the camera is fairly new then the version of ACR you have with CS5 won't be able to read those file. You'll need to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop or use Lightroom 5.
Once a new version of Photoshop comes out Adobe does not support updating ACR from the older version of PS. -

I am trying to trigger a JavaScript fuction from inside a
Flash 8/AS2 movie created by my coworker. The JS function is called
disappear(), which is meant to close the DIV that contains the
flash movie itself.
I know the JS works in all my target browsers - it's been
tested already. Now I need working ActionScript. The ActionScript
I've been studying is 3.0 so the fact that this task must be
accomplished in AS2 makes it that much harder for me; I know very
little about the way Flash Virtual Machine 1 works so I don't know
where to begin with the code.
I would like to implement this one of two ways:
Preferred Method: I'd like to create an AS file that I can
send to my coworker for inclusion in his FLA along with any code
necessary for linking the button instance to the class in the AS
file (don't think code is necessary; linkage done during
right-click on library panel, right?)
Alternative Method: I'd like to send my coworker text that he
can simply drop into the first frame in the movie to make it go.
I started out trying to call the javascript with on(press) {
getURL("avascript:myFunction"); }, which worked in Firefox but not
in IE6 or 7. Then I read over the tutorial here:

</html>Thank you for your response. The drives are in fact different letters -- I changed the drive name to correspond the original drive letter...but that doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.
Where I seem to stand is:
Old computer (with iTunes library) + external hard drive (with iTunes music) work just fine.
New computer -- iTunes library copied from old computer, iTunes music folder identified in iTunes, but iTunes can't find the music.
At this point, am I better off starting from scratch with the new computer (in terms of installing iTunes and moving my library over from my old computer)?
And if so, what would be the best way to approach this?
