It wasn't every song, just a few of them. A nightmare to figure out what to do, but it was solved upon reboot.

Is there a DJ app for the Ipad that will read the "start" and "stop time" setting for each individual song, as they are set in the song Options screen in Itunes? The Ipod Touch, by itself does not allow cross-fading, therefore when the stop time is edited short, the song jusst truncates then goes to the next song. I tried the DJay ap and while it would crossfade, it would NOT read the song settings for the stop marker. So now I want to try and Ipad and see if there is an app that will READ the Itune stop settings within the song. I do NOT want an app that will allow me to DO the stop marker. I want an app that will READ the stop marker from the song as it is set in Itunes.

Itunes provides the option for setting the Start and Stop times of each music track. However, the start and stop times do not synchronize to the iPhone. I don't understand why this option is even available as it doesn't work when listening to music on the phone. I have not found another application that will support the start and stop time markets. I have searched quite a bit for this but can't find anything. I hope we can find something.

I stay in hotels alot and use my Airport Express to hard wire into hotel network. But hotels seem to have a sensor that will not allow any other device like my I-phone, I-pad to connect. Just one device and that's it. Is there a setting to cure this?

I stay in hotels often and use my Airport Express to hardwire into the hotel's network. This seems to work fine and allows my Macbook Pro to work wirelessly.
The problem is I cannot then hook up my Iphone or Ipad to the network. It seems the hotels have a sensor and only allow one device on their network at a time. Is there a setting in the setup of my Airport Express that might fix this problem?

If you have the AirPort Express setup in Bridge Mode, try changing the Connection Sharing setting to "Share a public IP address"

You will probably get a message about a Double NAT error. Click to "ignore"
This setting might allow mutliple devices to connect and may not. It's worth a try...I have about a 60-70% success rate at hotels with this setting.
Unfortunately, as you note....hotels have become a lot smarter about connections to their network. At some point, they probably will not even allow another router to connect at all.

Have been thru the HP resetting of the power adaptor etc, so I checked at the printer plug and had +32VDC, which is the correct input voltage. The printer still will not start, what am I missing?

Repeated System Crash that will not stop anyone have an idea?

I have a Quad_Core and lately my system has been crashing. Next to the cursor/arrow a square box will appear made up of 8 rows of dashes creating a perfect square. When this happens I can move the mouse but the screen and OS are completely frozen. When it happens I hear the sound of the fan increase some what. It does not matter what program I am in. I thought I had a corrupt USER but the problem also happens on my ADMIN level. I checked about this mac and my memory all 10 gig seems to be fine. I did a soft install of OS and it still keeps happening. I described my problem to a former IT friend and he suspects I have a hardware problem.
I am really strapped for cash these days barely making my mortgage and any help you can extend would be greatly appreciated.

Reboot and hold down the 'D' key. Be patient and follow the on-screen prompts. Run the extended test. If a problem is found it should list the problem and probably indicating a hardware fault. If the unit locks up whilst running the test it's probably indicating a hardware fault. From what you're describing possibly a failing component on the Graphics Card? I would eliminate any potential RAM Module issues first though. If the RAM Modules check out, you should consider taking it to an Authorised Repair Specialist or Genius Bar. AFAIK this should cost you nothing. If the unit is still under warranty or has an extended warranty (Applecare), the repairs should be free of charge provided the results of the diagnosis meets the conditions of the warranty.

Hold the Skype app icon down until it jiggles then tap the x then tap Delete.
Now go to the App Store and re download Skype.
To receive notifcations from Skype tap Settings > Notifications
If you don't have a Skype account, after you tap the app you should be prompted to set one up.
You will need to purchase Skype credit in order to send SMS or make calls.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
