I have attempted to install iTunes multiple times but to no avail. I have installed every file, and followed every instruction on the support pages. I click download, and it takes me directly to the "Thank You for Downloading" page without doing anything. I am running it on FireFox, and I have tried with Internet Explorer, neither have worked. I have been trying to do this for weeks now, and I am getting majorly frustrated. Please, help.
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

Thank you for downloading Safari 4
Well that clears things up. Clearing out all downloaders in Firefox let me copy Skype and other dmgs. But trying to download Safari leads to a page that says “thank you for downloading Safari 4,” but of course nothing was delivered. How do we tell?
Do we search spotlight for a dmg?
Will it load itself and appear in the dock?
Should we look in applications?Very, very funny. But, no, you don't have to mount it like a horse. Besides I think it would prove difficult straddling a disc image.
The term is used to mean that the disc image is mounted on your Desktop like an attached external disk drive. A drive icon will appear, and when you double-click on the icon a Finder window will open to display the contents just as it would for any other disk drive appearing on your Desktop. At that point you can deal with the item as you would if it were an a CD or DVD. If there's an installer then the software can be installed by double-clicking on the installer icon. If no installer is needed then simply drag the application to a convenient place on your hard drive, usually the Applications folder.
The convenient way is to let your downloads go to the default folder - /Home/Downloads/. From there you can install the software. If you want to keep the download file you can or you can delete it. This approach obviates the need to search for the disc images or other downloads because they are always in the same folder.
Hope this helps. -
Thank you for downloading itunes - Nothing happens
I cannot reinstall iTunes on my laptop running windows7. I have uninstalled iTunes and quick time player, removed the pop up blocker, and I am logged in as an administrator on my laptop account, but every time I attempt tp download iTunes from the apple site I am taken to a new window, that states "Thank you for downloading iTunes", but nothing has been downloaded.

No download came but it says thank you for downloading iTunes.
no download came but it says thank you for downloading iTunes.
There is some anecdotal evidence that the scripts on the Apple site that are supposed to detect the version of Windows you are running may fail for some users - jumping straight to the "Thank you for downloading ..." page with the installer not having been downloaded. As an alternative, you can go directly to the relevant downloads - like the previous 12.1.0.77 release, there are three different installers available, with direct links to these as follows:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (64-bit) - itunes6464setup.exe
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (64-bit "for older video cards") - iTunes64Setup.exe
The third of these - which is actually the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer - should be used if you get a warning about video card incompatibility when you install the standard 64-bit version, but also may resolve issues with playback, QuickTime compatibility, and problems with some third-party applications (including Outlook).
See turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details if you're still having problems with installation.

My Time Capsule won't remove old backups so that it can keep backing up
My TC is associated with a few Macs and has gotten to pretty much full capacity, so not when it attempts to back up it says no more room blah blah blah. I was of the impression that it'd remove old back ups so as to maintain its backing up function.
