I have been asked to verify my account details. I have moved from UK to New Zealand. I cannot change my country from United Kingdom. When I tap on United Kingdom a red message appears telling me that I have unexpired video rentals, which is irrelevant!

I have moved from UK to New Zealand. I need to change my address within iTunes because my credit card is now billed to me in NZ. I have an iPad. When I tap United Kingdom within the relevant change personal details section, instead of allowing me to switch countries, a red message comes up telling me that I have unexpired video rentals. This is correct, but it does not help me switch countries. Can anyone help?

Nothing yet. I have changed my information back to the UK address and, though it is no longer correct, it now allows me to buy stuff. Not good!

    Thank goodness for this thread! 
    I installed iOS5 last night and was having the same problems described above with my iPad 1 32 GB + 3G.  Unknown Error (1) and was unable to restore. 
    I took my ipad to the local Apple Store today and was told by the genius that it was a hardware issue, and because the warranty had expired, there was nothing the Store could do.  He suggested that I try calling AppleCare.  Then I asked to speak with a manager.  He apologized again and said there was just nothing the Store could do.  I was close to leaving, when I asked a second time if it would be possible to see a Manager. 
    After asking a second time, he called a manager.  After explaining my issue to her, she immediately authorized him to give me a new iPad !   Anyone with this problem should definitely go to the store and be polite but adamant.  You should get a new iPad.

    Probably not, though I believe your iCloud data may be removed if your account is completely inactive for 180 days.  Have you used iCloud recently?  Made a backup, synced contacts, etc?  If so, then you shouldn't worry about it.  Have a look at this article as well Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support

    Check the font size, if it's just a little too close to the top of the box, it will reject it.

    The 8300 is not listed in the device upgrade table for Blackberry device OS v5.0. The newer versions of apps like Twitter and Facebook require device OS v5.0 to run correctly. Might be time to consider a new device!

    You don't import the project.
    I'm going to assume that both the trial version and purchased version were 10.1.
    Open FCPX and then Open Library>Other, Navigate to wherever you stored the library (ies) you worked on when you used the trial. Choose that library and your work should be in one or more events in it.

    How were you asked to update this information? Was it in an email? - if so you need to check whether it's genuine by looking at the sending address and the long header, and the URL of any link in it. If you are not absolutely sure it's from Apple you need to stop the card.
    If you were actually on the iTunes Store having gone there directly then the request would be genuine, so no worries there, but you will need to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services', then ' 'iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store', then 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption'.

    Read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data. Quit the App Store application if it’s running. Test after each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Updates
    Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
    from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the contents of the selected folder to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
    Step 2
    Do as in Step 1 with this line:
