I have been having multiple issues lately with my iMac - starting with insanely slow processing/run speeds.
When I run Activity Monitor, consistently the highest usage of CPU is "ReportCrash" - typically shows up as 80-200% of CPU.
What could this be caused by?
I posted only a portion of the code from Activity Monitor but not sure what exactly is relevant or not. I can certainly post more if it's needed.

It would help to know more about your iMac.
What year, screen size, CPU speed and amount of RAM installed?
How full is your Mac's hard drive?
How many applications do you run simultaneously in the background while working in another application?
Do you run any antivirus software on your Mac? Antivirus software can slow down the normal operation of OS X.
Do you run any "crapware" like Mackeeper or any other type of so called hard drive "cleaning" apps?
Have you downloaded and installed anything recently that might have caused the erratic behaviour of your iMac?

I have been having a issue with getting the colors on my monitor to match the colors fro my print lab. I now have the monitor calibrated to match the prints but when I open elements it doesn't use the same colors. If i have it use the calibrated profile by changing the color management settings, the color picker no longer shows true white or black. How do I get elements 12 to honor the new calibrated settings?

We have been having some issues with Email Notifications not going out and getting hung up in SOST. Can anyone please tell me whether we can use SAP Solution Manager to monitor outbound email?
What version of Solman are you using ? Check in t-code Rz20 >ccms monitor template of satelliate system , there would be option to monitor your outbound mails .You can sutomise your monitorig metrics in solman 7.1 else in 7.01 you use auto reaction methods to monitor .

I have been having nothing but trouble with OS 10.6.8. Many of my applications will not work.. HOw can I revert back to a previous version of OS x?
Before you revert anything try this:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

I have been having problems downloading apps with my cellular data. I try installing apps from the app store and when it starts loading it just stays loading for a while but all of a sudden it loads all the way and then it restarts. It goes back to waiting

I have been having a lot of issues with my iPod touch. Whatever I purchase on my iPod I can't seem to transfer it to my iTunes library. If something should happen to my iPod, I wouldn't want to lose all of the music I have purchased. I can't upgrade it either because a box pops up that says everything will be erased from my iPod... I need help!
Might be an authorization issue in iTunes. Try deauthorizing your computer through the Store menu at the top of iTunes and then authorizing it again. Once that is done try transferring purchases from the iPod Touch.

Just recently, I have been unable to receive icloud email on my iphone and new ipad3. Although, I am a loyal apple consumer, I feel a bit let down. I am a PhD student and used my ipad/icloud email for downloading and reading PDF journal articles. My goal is to eventally buy a MacBook Pro and eliminate some of the syncing issues with icloud by storing my documents on the hard drive. I hope this will give me some relief from all the trouble I have had with icloud. Please share your suggestions.
Right now, there is an iCloud blackout. Most people are having issues syncing Notes, Calenders, and Contacts between devices, emails aren't being sent, and Find My iPhone isn't working.

I try to click on the games or other users names or anything that opens another link and it crashes. This has been happening off and on for about a month but has gotten regular in the last 4 or 5 days. Anybody have any ideas?? Also, it seems that Firefox has affected Adobe. I am having lots of issues in the last few weeks but when I use Windows I'm OK????
i have the same problem with the above..firefox is running too slow with the games in facebook..but it runs good when browsing my updates, msgs, photos...firefox is totally opposite of IE..IE is faster with the games and slow while browsing..i love to use mozila but when i do games it really pisses me off...hope you could help me..

The apps stop working, usually when during the syn process, and the computers ends up crashing altogether. Sometimes not even the 'force quit' will do the trick, so I end up forcibly shutting down the computer.

Anti-virus apps in general tend to create more issues than they solve.Fortunately the best method to protect your system from any malware is by keeping your system up-to-date. Once successfuly removed then restart in Safe Mode (Google it) and then restart normally and re-test. -

Luckily I reinstalled the software and the problem just disappeared , and now for all those facing the same problem after reinstalling mountain lion don't update to 10.8.1 , cause only after that update earlier was when the problem started showing up , along with that don't reinstall lion using your recovery on your harddrive it takes 23 hours to install because it downloads the software first and then does all the installation so just download the app for mountain lion from the AppStore first and then make a bootable USB installation disk out of it , I'm sure you'll find a tutorial on google on how to make a recovery USB out of it , as for your data and stuff I moved all my stuff to an external hard drive and then performed a reinstall I recommend you do the same . The steps are simple after making the USB insert it and then reboot when the computer turns itself on press the alt/option key and then their will be a list of options there you will see your mt lion USB boot into it , select disk utility and then your Macintosh HD , WARNING IN THIS STEP YOU WILL ERASE YOUR HARD DRIVE COMPLETELY MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ALL YOU DATA BEFORE PERFORMING THIS STEP I WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, so choose your drive , go to the erase tab choose Mac os extended journaled usually the first option from the drop down menu and name it Macintosh HD again click on erase and then after thats done close the utility , now select the option to install mt lions copy from the first menu and then chose your Macintosh HD that we erased eirlier and install, it takes about 20-40 mins depending on your Mac and then viola the problem will disappear , well at least it did for me . 1.) My iTunes keeps shutting down on me, after 5-10 minutes of being opened and starting updates, or if I play music. I restart iTunes and it just does it over and over again.
2.) I have homesahring ON on both my desktop PC and my AppleTV 2nd gen, but my AppleTV cannot access the computer. I have restarted and reset both PC and AppleTV over and over, but still no luck.

I have been having lots of problems with my iPad 2 freezing since I downloaded the IOS7. It freezes for several minutes each time this happens. Is there something you can suggest that I do to eliminate this problem in the future?
First thing to try is a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

Has iTunes Match been flaky for anyone else lately. I have been having issues with some of my songs. Some of the songs play, some skip.
Either import your Songs into a new clean library, or rebuild your existing library - it would appear your current library is corrupt.
