Try putting the iPod in DFU Mode vs. Recovery Mode.

so i got ios 7 in beta on my ipod touch, now several months later, it says my ipod touch needs to be activated. it wont activate over wifi or when connected to itunes. how can i fix this?

I have been trying to burn newly purchased (as well as last year purchases) ITunes to a disc. I had burned some of these songs to a disc last year and all went well. Now I have been getting this popup telling me that the AppleSync Notifier has stoped working & the corefoundation.dll needs to be re-installed. Also that Windows will try to fix the problem. Every time I try to burn the disc, the computer sends the disc back out and the screen tells me to put in a blank recordable disc. I have tried 4 different new discs now and the same thing happens.
I am running Windows Vista.
Have been to the Roxio web site for help as well as Apple.
Have tried many "fixes" such as: updating latest version of Direct X from the Microsoft website; Disabling startup items; going to local disc C and into the Apple/Apple Appplication support and right-clicking on the SQLite3.dll and moving it tomobile support device window. Nothing has worked. What can I do to get some music recorder? Should I buy a new cassette deck and record onto tape like I did 20 years ago? This is a very important disc I am making as a gift & I need to get it done by this weekend. Is there anyone that can offer good advice?love paying a lot of money for something that doesn't work right, thanks apple

I am conneting my Ipad to mutiple Pcs, (windows and Mac) and it is not being recognized in the device list on itunes or the computers. the ipad is fully charged, I have reset it numerous times and it gives me the apple icon and then the "connect to itunes" message.... but dose nothing after that. I had it all set up and gave it to my daughter who tried to sync it with her macbook when it did this. We are using direct connections to the computers usb ports, the cables are new, ituens is newly updated on all pc's...

Web pages are taking an extremely long time to load. Sometimes they don't load at all. This is especially true with video sites like YouTube. I scanned my entire computer with Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, Iobit Malware Fighter, SuperAntiSpyware, Windows Defender, Malicious Software Remover Tool, and Emisoft Anti-Malware. I did an anti-virus scan with Avast. I also ran CCleaner and Advanced System Care to clean all junk. Nothing is working.

Running about 7 tabs open at startup, this has always worked fine, here is the problem and the sequence of events leading up to hope. Any suggestions would be appreciated:

Mozilla updated me to 7.0 automatically a few days ago, no problems
Yesterday they auto updated me to 7.0.1, now it won't connect
Scaled back to 3 tabs at start now it connects but after a minute of so, the icon in the tabs just spinning and it isn't connected
Scaled back to one tab the same thing
Reinstalled Firefox, disabled the Norton firewall to test, same thing
Checked the application setting on the firewall, it is set to allow or auto
I downloaded Firefox 8 beta same issue
Any suggestions would be appreciated, not sure it is foxfire or not but the upgrade to 7.0.1 started
Anyway to go back to a pre 7 release?
I disabled the add on and have the same problem.
BTW IE 8 works fine.

i jailbroke my new ipod touch 4g with redsnow and as i have no wi-fi i installed appsync and installous by placing .DEB files of the same in cydia via i-funbox on my pc and rebooted ipod.then i was able to intall any app.but i found jailbreaking is not good and voids warranty i tried to restore it.i-tunes downloaded the ios and then i tried to restore ipod i-tunes says 'unknown error(3194)'.i have latest version of i-tunes installed(10.5.3).i also have a broad band connection.
i once tried to get SHSH blobs from tinyumbrella and i-faith but did not succeded.
now ipod is very slow,stucks and also i-books is not supporting(shows configuration error.restore ur ipod).
so for all these reasons i want to restore my ipod.so please help me.thank you guys.That is not true. Jaibreaking is not illegal and Apple can't seize your device if yu do. The can just refuse service like help in this Apple forum.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT AN APPLE MAC AIR, and was using Safari as a browser. I had problems with Hotmail loading and was unable to play my Zynga game, which I use as I am disabled and partially housebound.
I called my Internet Service Provider (Plusnet) who advised me to install Firefox as my browser, which I did, with great success. Everything worked perfectly including Hotmail and my game.
However, for the last 2 - 3 weeks I have been unable to send an e-mail on Hotmail at all, although I can read my Inbox.
My friend has a similar problem, as he installed Firefox at my recommendation, although he is able to send an e-mail, he cannot make any attachments.
Please try to fix this problem as soon as possible.

My MacBookPro works fine on both primary and guest networks. HP info shows excellent signal strength. Web page won't open. Tried reducing security level from WPA2personal to WPA. Tried entering TCP/IP addresses manually in HP. I'm told that the HP works with other WiFi routers and can access Internet through other WPA2 setups. I'm out of ideas. Help?
With a PC, the Windows Firewall and/or the anti-virus software will sometimes block an attempted Internet connection.
Check both applications to see if you can find a "blocked" item and then take steps to "allow" the connection.
If still no luck, temporarily disable the wireless security for a short period to see if the PC can connect that way. If it can.....then you know it is security related issue.
See if the PC can connect using a setting like WPA-PSK-TKIP. The equivalent Apple setting would be WPA/WPA2 Personal. -
I have an IPad 2 and when I woke it up it gave me an error message on the desktop: "iCloud backup: This IPad hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks. Backups happen when this IPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." I have done all of these and it still doesn't allow me to get rid of the error message. I even connected the IPad to the computer and attempted to back it up using the Web but it still doesn't get rid of the message. Help!
Reset your iPad to clear that condition:
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). -

Ok, new to this forum. I pad 2 FaceTime, new user.
Have list of favorites in the face time app, but when hit edit at top of list, red circles appear, but nothing happens when touch delete,
The delete red oval appears for fraction of second.
This has to be software issue???

My ipod touch (2nd generation) is stuck on the usb to itunes screen. I have NOT jailbroken it, and i have also tried restarting numerous times. I need help, soon! Itunes on my computer works about 50% of the time, so i feel lost!
Download RecBoot and see if you can kick it out of recovery mode.
