I have been trying to update via App Store and every time only with apple software it starts to download and it will says it's calculating time remaining then an error message pops up saying " An error has occurred the request timed out. (102)" I have tried everything , I've been told its my ISP but I have tried using differenet internet to attempt the updates. Like I said all other software updates fine its just apple software

Hold option key down and click the "Go" menu in the menu bar.
Select "Library" from the dropdown.
Library > Preferences
Look for the file com.apple.appstore.plist and move it to Trash.
Restart the computer.

i have been trying to update my apps but i recieve a pop up on my iphone and ipod that my apple id has been disabled. i have reset my password and made sure that everything in my settings are up to date with the new password. but the problem still persists. i have done what the support link has told me i have even logged out and logged back in but still no positive results. please help

You aren't likely to get an answer with that type of attitude. BTW, you are not contacting Apple on these forums. We are all volunteer end users just like you. If you want support, then call AppleCare and you can get one-on-one assistance. -
i want to update my apps on my iphone4 and when i go to update them a message keeps popping up saying "sign in to varify your acount" i sign in then it takes me to a billing page i put in all of my billing information and it says security code wrong i i have the Mastercard infront of me every time i try to do this and it tells me that i have an "invalid security code"

What country is your account with Apple located? The billing address for the bank card must be identical to the way the bank shares that info with Apple or the transaction cannot be completed. The 3 digit security code on the back of the card must also be correct and the postal code.

I continuously get this error: "There was a problem connecting to .mac. The request timed out"
I don't have a .mac acct - never have had one. I have moved my Aperture library to an external harddrive - and changed that to the library. It seems like I started having this problem around that time but I'm not sure. When I get the error I click "OK" and it goes away, only to re-pop a minute later. Aperture 3.1.2Strange, I got this error for the first time last night. I have a 27" iMac (late 2010 model); with latest Aperture. I recently added a Flickr account (have had a Facebook account on there for some time). I was uploading some to my flickr account, and noticed that even though the "use actual size" setting was used, it was uploading tiny thumbnails and not the full version.
It was after this, that I got that error. I haven't tried it again, as I'm now on my macbook at work. Will try again tonight.
I've also, NEVER had a .mac account, so no possibility of it being a legacy account. -
I've been trying to update my apps but it keeps asking for my billing info so i retype everything and it keeps saying my security code is invalid when i know its not. It is same card they had on file before and the same security code but now it wont take it and i cant update anything. HELP!
If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank. -
I have been trying to update iTunes 11.1.3 (8) to 11.4 and the error message says "an unexpected error occured. iTunes cannot be installed". Anyone can help?
I have a Mac Book Pro with OS X 10.6.8If your profile is correct you are using 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. The latest iTunes version for that OS is 11.3.1 If your profile is wrong and you have 10.9.5 Mavericks, then the iTunes version is 11.4. You cannot use Mavericks versions on Snow Leopard.

Am trying to update software through "Software Update" on my iMac (latest Lion operating system).

First what version of Lion are you running and have you downloaded any Combo updates since you installed it.
Second; I see you only have 10.6.2 in your profile. You might like to update it.
I don't have Lion myself but I'm guessing you don't have the very latest version. You can check what should be available through the opening Apple support page > downloads. -
I have been trying to update apps on my iPad for the last week. I get a blank screen under updates. However the other App Store functions work. Not sure how to fix this. iPad updates are up to date.
The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

I recently updated my mac to mavericks, and I can't use my iPhoto unless I update it and I have been trying to update it but it says I've "purchased it on a different account" or "the item has been cancelled/deleted" what do I do? It also says its unavailable. Please help.
Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.
