I have changed computers and installed iTunes on my new computer. I want to sync my iphone now but the "sync" program indicates that it will remove all data on my phone and replace it with the newly installed itunes that does not have my information.
I have a new computer and have installed iTunes on it.
Now I want to sync my iphone but the new itunes on the new computer wants to remove everything on my niphone and replace it with what's on the newly installed itunes data but it does not have my data.
How can I sync the new itunes with my iphone and not have my phone data wiped out?

There is no way to stop iTunes from doing exactly what it is designed to do.
The iPhone is designed to sync with one and only one computer.
If you have moved/copied your iTunes library from your old computer to your new one, then iTunes wiping your device is no problem. You would simply sync and iTunes will put all the content back.

so I did the itunes upgrade to 10.5.1 and then teh iphone 4 needed to b e upgraded to new ios5.1 - seemed to go all the way through, and the final restore seemed to fail. Now the phone is no longer recognised as personalised, just as iphone. Also i cannot restore from backup, only restore factory settings and i am warned that I will lose all data. Can I force a restore from back up? can I guaruntee that I can keep data from backups??

If you have one of the old Apple IDs which are just a username and not an email address you cannot use this to create an iCloud account.
You will need to go to http://appleid.apple.com and create a new ID - for this you will need a functioning non-Apple email address (GMail or Yahoo would be fine).
Then you can sign in with the new ID in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud and create an iCloud account and an @icloud.com email address.
There is no problem about using this ID for iCloud and the old one for iTunes. The two are not related. -

I just got a new laptop and i have an ipod touch 4th gen, and i want to sync my music, and it told me its gonna delete all the music from my ipod if i proceed and it will replace it with whats in the library, yet nothing is in the library.. So i don't know the password to my ipod and it's disbled. i also don't have a computer. What should i do? Is there a possible way i could unlock my ipod without losig=ng anything?
You maybe able to get the photos off the iPod by:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You will have to then restoe the iPod via iTunes. It may be necessary to place the iPod in Recovery mode to allow the restore. -
The previous versions of firefox had google by default, which was the best. But now it seems firefox needs money very badly so it has tied up with yahoo to have it as default search engine.
I have tried everything all that the volunteers have suggested but nothing works.
So what to do?? Dump firefox and go back to explorer??? Or can this be fixed????Fix it easily.

thank youBack up all data to at least two different storage devices, if you haven't already done so. One backup is not enough to be safe. The backups can be made with Time Machine or with a mirroring tool such as "Carbon Copy Cloner." Preferably both.
Boot into Recovery mode, launch Disk Utility, and erase the startup volume with the default options. This operation will destroy all data on the volume, so you had be better be sure of your backups. Quit Disk Utility and install OS X. When you reboot, you'll be prompted to go through the initial setup process. That’s when you transfer the data from one of your backups.
Transfer only "Users" and "Settings" – not "Applications" or "Other files." Don't transfer the Guest account, if it was enabled on the old system. Test. If the problem is still there, the cause is external to the machine, or else you're dealing with a bug or a hardware fault.
If the problem is resolved, reinstall your third-party software cautiously. Self-contained applications that install into the Applications folder by drag-and-drop or download from the App Store are safe. Anything that comes packaged as an installer or that prompts for an administrator password is suspect, and you must test thoroughly after reinstalling each such item to make sure you haven't restored the problem. -

But I need to figure out how to get my iphone to transfer to this new computerThe iPhone and iTunes are designed to sync music only one way, from the computer to the iPhone. If you are trying to copy music from the iPhone to the computer, it won't. If you have authorized the computer in iTunes with your Apple ID, you can transfer any purchases made with iTunes to the new computer. If you have a backup of your iTunes music library, you can copy that to the new computer.
You have found that if you connect the iPhone to the computer an attempt to sync, it is warning you that you will lose all data currently on the phone and replace it with what is on the computer. If you backup the phone before trying to sync, it will help, but you would not be able to sync data that is not contained in the backup. You will need to sync your calendar/contacts to a supported application on the computer before attempting to sync the phone. You can get those to move over from the phone if you put in a unique calendar appointment and contact that does not exist on the phone. It will then generate a "merge" prompt to merge the contacts on the computer and iPhone to merge. Otherwise, the new computer becomes the one you sync with once you sync it the first time. -
UIElement does not have a label

I have just started using the Development Studio and whenever i create a TextView UIElement in a Web Dynpro project I get the following Task in the Tasks pane:
TextView DefaultText: UIElement does not have a label
How do i get ride of these tasks?

If you whant a fix -- add a label, if you whant "to get rid of this tasks" set Tasks filters. On "Tasks" view in title bar of view there is an icon with 3 right-targeted arrows. Clicking this icon raises dialog, where you can choose to show only tasks with severity error & warning. "UIElement does not have a label" has info severity. Alternatevily, set Description to "does not contain" option with "label" text as value.

Here goes. My iPod touch has all my songs on it. I have changed computers several times and iTunes has a library of similar but not as many songs as iPod. When I plug iPod in ans go to sync it says that iTunes library will replace iPod songs. I don't want this to happen I want the I pod songs to sync with iTunes. What do I do?
