I have changed my e-mail address and therefore need to change my apple ID. When I change it to my new address it says it is already my rescue address and cannot be used. Any ideas how to change my rescue address?

To change the iCloud ID ("email address") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

After the IOS7 updates, when we are viewing music videos on my phones I can no longer turn the phone horizontal to see a bigger viewing of the video. We are just users like you and don't know why Apple does what it does. This is not a place to "vent," it is a place to ask technical questions. YOu need to be clear about the products you are using, so we can help you. In particular there is no trial of Adobe Reader, it is free and keeps running. Sounds like you are using some versions of Acrobat - which?
YOu must properly uninstall the trial, don't just delete files or you may get a mess impossible to recover.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. If you have enough room on the boot drive, head to System Preferences > Accounts and create another Admin Account, log out and into it and try your Software Update again.
If this doesn't work, connect a Ethernet cable to the router or modem (power off/on) and try again.
If this doesn't work then run through this list of fixes.

please try this (all terms are translated from my German programs to my best knowledge):
1. Did the creator of the pdf file enable the import options?
2. See import options: choose an other visibility option for your layer.
3. Let you show the import options and click into one with a black background and try these out (often a gray is selected).
4. See trimming: try the different modes there. Often works: "Media".
5. Is the pdf file (eg from Word) correctly created?
6. Is the PDF file protected? >>> no import possible.
7. If that does not help, store the pdf file in Acrobat, repair possible errors, run the PDF Optimizer before placing in InDesign.

Lightroom keeps crashing now the library is corrupt and cannot be used - any idea why?

Lightroom is shutting itself down almost every 20 minutes. I have re-opened it and kept working then it happens again. I have re-started the PC and that helps but their seems to be something wrong. Have around 4000 photos in folders and then sub-folders. Any ideas? Have a two day old back-up that I can start using again on though I would love a way to restore / repair the corrupt version, which is held in a "CorruptDBs" folder.
Have been using Lightroom on a laptop for months without issue, now I have it on new PC, and this problem arises though only since the large number of images were imported (approx 4000).
Any suggestions welcome

You can't.
The Discussions took on a whole new format around the middle of November, and one of the (many) things that were changed was the inability to change your user alias. Apparently this was done for security reasons.
You could however create a whole new user account, selecting a different alias, but of course you would be starting from scratch with date joined/post account etc.

IPhoto won't read any of my portrait photos, only the landscape ones. They only show up as black portraits and I already erased them off my memory card. Any idea how to retrieve them or fix the problem?

I am using a 16 GB Sandisk Extreme Pro SD Card with a Canon EOS 60D camera and my files are saved as .raw on the memory card. I imported all my photos into iPhoto and then clicked the 'delete photos', as I always do after I imported by pictures, but when I went through my pictures I saw some black rectangles. It appears that all my portrait-orientated photos are just black whereas my landscape photos are perfectly fine. My portrait potos did turn up on my camera screen when I checked them through as I took them but now they're gone. Any idea if this is a software problem with iPhoto, an error with my memory card or even my camera? I've experienced this problem a bunch of times and it's really starting to annoy me that I'm losing all my photos.

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Open iTunes and navigate to the app store. Select a free app to download. A simple way to do this is to scroll down to the top free apps box on the right hand side, hover your mouse over the first item and click on the free button that appears when you hover over it.
A pop up will open asking you to sign in with your Apple ID click "create new account", click continue to create your account. Check the box to accept the store terms and conditions and click continue.
Enter your email address, password, security question, and date of birth, click continue. Now, you will be asked to provide a payment method. Note now that the last option says "none".

I think my ipod touch is set to camera mode and I need to switch it back. When I hoook it up to my computer it thinks I am hooking up a camera and wants to download pics. It used to read it as an ipod and automatically synch. Now it doesn't do that. HELP

When I first got my ipod, I would hook it up to my computer and it would automatically synch with my itunes. But then I took some pictures with my ipod and downloaded the pics. Now everytime I hook up my ipod to my computer, it reads it as a camera and asks if I want to download pics. It is driving me crazy. I haven't used my ipod as a camera since that one time, and I need to get it back to automatically synching when I hook it up. It's like it is not being recognized as an ipod. Is there something I can do to get my ipod out of camera mode and back to ipod mode. Also, i got a speaker system to hook up my ipod to and it is not "picking up" the ipod when I hook it up. the music will not come out of the speakers and I think again it is an issue of my ipod being in "camera" mode. HELP!!!
