I have changed my AppleId's e-mail address and thus the Appleid user name. I bought a new MacBookPro and updated my Appleid info. The problem is that it does not list all the Apps bought. I have only one iphone connected to it. My daughter has an ipad and had purchased a lot of apps using the old user-id. She had the ipad linked to another computer. However, the ipad does not switch on and from Apple Support they told me that it would be better if I restore it using a Mac. So my question is: if I restore it using the Mac, how would all these apps be synced since they do not appear on my iTunes on the Mac? Shouldn't all the apps appear since I have bought them?

I have the same issue. The new address is fine when I use iTunes and on my iCloud account, but my iPhone has my old e-mail address and when I try to change it won't accept my new or old password to be able to do so.

I got some help from iTunes support, and it seems to work.
If you have a .Mac iTunes account, and you want to change the email address:
First, change your primary email address at myinfo.apple.com.
Then:
"Due to an issue with the store, you must follow the instructions below to change your email address of record:
1. Verify that you have an active network connection and open iTunes.
2. Click Music Store from the Source list.
3. Click on the Account button in the upper right corner. The Account field will either display your iTunes Music Store Account ID or Sign In.
4. Enter the account name and password of the iTunes Music Store account.
5. Click View Account
6. On the Account Information page click Edit Credit Card
7. Re-enter your billing address information, adding a space at the end of your address. This will force the account to refresh and apply your new email address.
Please rest assured that we are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible."

Updated to IOS6 and now my apps will not update on the Ipad2. I have to delete them and then re-install. But I have several hundred apps and this is cumbersome. Seems the new software is too buggy. I am telling people not to update software yet.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Apple, I have an iPhone 5 and the purple tint in pictures is real and is going to be the most costly mistake to have changed the lens to a sapphire crystal lens. This is HUGE! Why did you fix what is not broken?

Why, because some clumsy, careless humans couldn't stop scratching a less that 1/4 inch wide lens? That is no reason for replacing the lens and pandering to their inability to handle advanced technology is not going to push the technology forward. Tossing out cheap cases like you did for the imagined iPhone 4 antenna "problem" will not fix this VERY real problem. I have been a loyal customer since 2005 and this, as stated in the title, could be your most costly mistake. Either your software engineers are going to have to compensate for the purple tint appearing in photos or you're going to sacrifice massive profits to physically replace the lens in every iPhone 5 you have sold and continue to sell. I've read that Apple customer service has tried to sweep this away by falsely claiming that the purple tint is "normal". It is absolutely not normal by any stretch of the imagination. Do not be silent Apple customers! Let the complaints pour like Niagara Falls or settle for the garbage that has been sold.
My former iPhone 4 took better pics.
I hope Apple didn't do the same with the pending iPad mini or this could turn into a maelstrom that even Steve Jobs would not have tolerated.

Change my Apple ID e-mail address to my new iCloud e-mail?

I've had an Apple ID account for many many years and it was a "hotmail" account. I recently created a new iCloud e-mail address (@me.com) address and tried to change the current (hotmail) address to the new (@me.com) address but an error message comes stating "You cannot create an Apple ID using a MobileMe account. If this is your email address, it is also your Apple ID". I searched the problem and appreantly it's a very common issue. I realize it is impossible at the current time to have this issue resolved, but are there any options? I don't want to use my current hotmail account anymore! But Apple keeps sending my receipts and uses my current hotmail account for communication. What to do? Could I at least let Apple use my (@me.com) address to receive iTunes receipts and notifications? It's good that I could use my iCloud e-mail to log in but the hotmail account still appears as my primary e-mail address. Please help. Thanks.

Unfortunately you can not change the primary address to an existing me.com or mac.com email address, but you can change your hotmail address to an other email address from another provider (like gmail, yahoo, gmx) and setup this account to forward all emails to your me.com address.
If you want an Apple ID with a me.com primary address. Then you will have to sign up again to create a new account. In this case you have to choose "free me.com address..." during the set up process. But note that you have no option to megre accounts, your former purchases will stay with your old Apple ID.

An iPad does not have a user model. There is no 'log on' page, nowhere to enter a username and password. An iPad is just an iPad and doesn't know who is using it.

I have changed the settings for my main page so that it's set for Google and it is still pulling on yahoo. I also unistall firefox and re installing it and the same problem persists. What can I do?

I also tried restoring it to the default settings, put in other websites as main page but yahoo is still coming up as the main page. I have downloaded yahoo's toolbar a few months back and have unistalled it a few weeks ago but still nothing has changed.

Reset the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the about:config page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.

I had the same promblem using my ipad2, I thought i was going crazy, then I noticed once when I put my user name in and checked it was right, one time it dropped the last letter of my U/N as went to hit submit so i went back put the deleted "m" back into ".com", hit enter, put in my password multiple times, tripple checked, no joy. There are no contacts in itunes.
Your contact should be on your computer in whatever program you have selected to sync. Just sync them to the new one.

Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. I actually did not resolve the issue which is why i did not post an answer.
it turns out that my iphone seems to default to an incorrect User ID (it defaults to an @me account, which is not something that i have ever used).
even when i change the User ID in my settings for the iTunes store, it still appears when i attempt to get updates for my existing apps. however, it does seem to use the correct ID when i attempt to purchase new apps.
If someone actually had an answer to correct this, i would love to update my existing apps.

MX 7 won't restart unless I change the user it runs as

We've had this happen to two servers now and I'm just waiting
for it to happen to the third.
Afte a while, Coldfusion MX 7 will not restart. If we change
the user the service runs as to "Administrator" it will run, but
now longer under the "SYSTEM" user it was always running under
before.
On;y after hours of working on this and upsetting a LOT of
clients did we discover it would run by changing the users.
WTF. Anyone know why it seems that all of our MX 7
installations eventually get to this point?

This is repeatable on BOTH machines by switching back to the
"Local System" account and then to the "Administrator" account.
Since this is now happening on TWO machines I have a hard
time believing Adobe hasn't identified what the problem is. Maybe
they have, a post to a hotfix would be GREATLY appreciated :)
