If you go to Photoshop>About Plug-in and click on the words Camera Raw, what version does it list?
I suspect you still have Camera Raw 7.0
When you go to Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6, it says nothing available?

I have PSE9 and a Nikon d5100 Camera. Can't get PSE to accept 5100 raw files.
I have set up to use iphoto to store my psotos and externally edit my files in PSE. Works fine with jpeg files but raw files will not transfer. Get message that PSE will not accept. I think that PSE9 will accept wit an upgrade Camera Raw Plug in 6.4. Mine is currently 6.1. I finally got 6.4 downloaded and then the installer refused to install saying I need a serial number for something called Adbe flash Pro CS4 which I don't have ..Adobe people say they no longer give on line support for the PSE -9. Did not enjoy hearing that!!! Help. Sally'Bob

Actually in pse 9 you should be able to go to Help>Updates from within the photoshop elements 9 editor to install the latest camera raw 6.5 plugin for pse 9

my somewhat old imac osx 10.5.8 with iphoto '08 will not read my RAW files from my new Nikon D800 camera - a new model on the market( 5 months or so). How can I get iphoto to read my RAW files?
iPhoto 08 would not read RAW files from that new a camera. You need to upgrade so you can get more up-to-date version of OS X and iPhoto. Another possiblity is see if iPhoto 11 will run on 10.5.8, if so you should update. You can also attempt to run Software Update and see if it finds a newer release of iPhoto 08 that supports newer RAW formats.

The latest Apple driver support begins with the MP 171.
Here is Ricoh's official driver download page specifically for the Afico MP 161. Note that new drivers for this device were released on Aug 2, and include Lion and Mountain Lion.

I suppose all you can do is be content with the limitations of your old iBook G4 running Tiger. It would be possible to upgrade to 10.5 Leopard, but I would not recommend doing that because that secondhand software is quite expensive, so giving little improvement over what you have.
If you desire a more modern operating system, you will need a more modern 'Intel' computer. I expect you realise that and are simply seeking confirmation of that. -

Apple's iOS platform (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) has never, and will never support flash.
First on this; Thoughts on Flash. This is from Steve Jobs regarding Apple's views on Flash (2010)
Second; Adobe stops making Flash for mobile devices. This is from Adobe themselves last year stating that they would stop making Flash for mobile devices.
If you can find the App equivalent of the programs you are looking for, then congratulations, however, if you require specific 'programs' requiring flash, then the iPad is certainly not for you, and returning it would be the best choice (granted you are still within the return period).

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Having trouble configuring my cogeco email on the iphone 4s, any ideas how to do this.
Sending/receiving or just sending? I was previously able to get a "sending only" problem to work by setting up Rogers (my carrier) as an alternate smtp server [smtp.rogerswirelessdata.com]. It used to work OK but on my new iPhone it no longer works and I have no idea why. It will try to send the email forever and seems to drain the batter given time. Apple tech support was unable to help and Cogeco was less than helpful. I've given up for now and started using Gmail to consolidate all my email accounts.

Where you using iPhoto to import your photos before? if so they are held inside an iPhoto Library.
You would either need to Extract them, or use the Lightroom plugin to move the images over, Aperture import plugin now available
