It sounds like you and your husband are sharing an Apple ID, a version of iTunes on your computer, or both.
I recommend you share neither your Apple ID nor your version of iTunes. You can still share music by using Store > Authorize this computer and enter your spouse's information. But it sounds llike this sharing is the cause of your problem.

It shows on iTunes SOME of my past purchases, but not all (looks like around 30-40% of purchases).    It shows on my apple id purchase history everything i have purchased; but in iTunes, some not all of these show up.    What does show up is kind of "greyed out", so NOTHING will actually play.   I have followed the steps in the iTunes support about how to redownload past purchases, but this dowsn't work, as the download button is also "greyed out".
I am extremly angry and upset about this issue. Could someone please help / advise re how to fix????

After I watch a podcast I delete it. When I go back in the next day it shows 500-600 episodes I have to delete manually. So 2 questions.... Is there a way to stop this from happening and is there a way to delete all. This is getting frustrating.

Had all these issues. Bit the bullet and downloaded the Downcast App ($1.99). Much better expereince and a lot more features. Sad.

Thanks for your help. Since I'm uninterested in loading all my photos (the only option) into photostream, I won't be able to use the settings in ATV. I guess I'm just stuck with using iPhoto on my MB Air. Thanks again.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

Is there a way to stop this automatic upgrade of programs in CC without giving consent. It really brings things to a standstill if you are in the middle of a projects.

I'm usually at a connection so it's only once I'm on the road that I see it happen this way so I'll have to mess with it all when I'm not at one again. I'm not using any special software that I know of that should conflict with it. Macs use an application called Migration Assistant to copy material from the old Mac to the new one. The macs are connected together and each runs Migration Assistance and the user chooses what stuf to copy onto the new Mac.
Unfortunately I do not know how to do this between pcs or between a Mac and a Pf or even if it's even possible.

I purchased an explicit version of a song by mistake. I then went back on line and purchased the clean version. I've deleted it from my itunes library but when I sync it with my phone, it reappears. How do I remove it permanently? It almost seems like what's on my phone is what appears on my computer and not the other way around.

Every iCloud and iMessage account is tied to an AppleID, so just use separate AppleIDs for those services and you each will have your own, private accounts for those services. You can both use a shared AppleID for purchased content from the iTunes and App stores if you wish.

If you are not synicng notes with a supported application on your computer, notes are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step duriung the iTunes sync process.
If your iPhone's backup was updated after this note was created on your iPhone meaning this notes is included with the backup, and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since the note was deleted from your iPhone which would update your iPhone's backup as the first step to reflect the note being deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. When prompted to update your iPhone's backup as the first step when restoring, decline the prompt or the backup will be updated to reflect the note being deleted.

This is the same issue that has plagued me for years. I always thought that this was a Flash plugin issue, but it does occur on HTML5 as well. A friend of mine verified that this does not occur in Linux, but only on Windows. It would be great to have this fixed, as it's honestly the only thing that's making me use Chrome all the time, as I don't want to have multiple browsers open.
