Why can't I talk to someone at Adobe about this issue?

    Im attempting to dowdload the latest Creative Suite but the site does not recognize my IE10 browser and says I need a compatable browser.  Any advice on how to get it to recognize so I can complete the download? It is the latest version and should be compatable.

    Seems to be a bug in Adobe's download manager in that it incorrectly reads the IE10 browser ID string as IE1 and thinks it's an old, outdated browser.
    The solution is to switch on Compatibility View in IE10 so it identifies itself as IE9 (or use another browser).

  • I have Adobe Creative Suite 5, updates will not install?

    Th icon in the bottom says I have updates {or 6 months now I have clicked on this to no avail). I click, the files download but do not install. Errorcode suggests it cannot find software is looking for past products to verify upgrade updates. The CS5 product on this computer is  FULL VERSION not an UPGRADE VERSION! I have three copies I bought and this one will not allow the updates to install. I could give it old codes as I have them but IT DOESN'T ASK ME FOR THEM NOR give me a button to seek them out....
    Suggestions?
    Windows 8.1 machine...plenty of hard drive an ram....same computer type and setup two other licensed copies work fine on...

    I have an iMac running Yosemite 10.10.2 and I am having issues updating my CS5.
    The Application Manager alerted me to updates but when I tried to update, all updates failed to install:

    When I try the manual install I get this from the Adobe Application Manager:
    Some Updates Failed to Install (but from what I can tell, it didn't even try)
    Update is not applicable
    I haven't used the applications fully yet, so I'm not sure if I'm missing anything huge. Aside from security and bug fixes of course but they seem to be running smoothly so I don't know how much I should be worried about being unable to install these updates? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. I did search but didn't find any solutions if the manual installation didn't work so if there is already a thread covering this, I apologize in advance.

    As you said yourself - only minor fixes that may not at all be relevant to you. You're probably not missing anything at all. Otherwise I'd be more worried about general compatibility issues on Yosemite...

    Eduardo Alejandro Lazo what specific error do you receive when trying to apply the update?
    I would also recommend checking the installation logs for the updates you are attempting to apply for errors.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

    When you downloaded Lion from the Appstore (and paid 29$) you have 10.7.4.
    After the download you will find it in the Applications folder: that is the installer ! The installer vanishes when used, thus if you want to make an installer disk (to avoid a later redownload), you should do it before you run this installer.     I got some more info that may help.
    I put a cd on my laptop, and was able to share it to my computer... So the problem is only from my computer to my laptop. I tried the firewall thing and it did not help. I read the rest of the trouble shooting page, and nothing else applies. iTunes is an execption and already was. I can not think of anything else being my problem. Do you think I should re-install iTunes or would that be a waste of time? At this point I am about to just call Apple for some help because I am getting to stressed over this.

    Boot your computer into Safe Mode usually by tapping the F8 key at boot.  Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
    From there type  rstrui.exe and select a Restore Point prior to the time the problem started.
    If unable, you will have to perform a Factory Restore.
