I have downloaded an app called My Data Manager but i can no longer find it in App Store to share with friends
My Data Manager by Mobidia appeared in the App Store and I downloaded it for testing. I updated to IOS 7.1.2
I was impressed with the app so I sent the link to other iPhone users for them to try whilst we tried out our iPhone Pilot.
When they searched for the App they could not find it, I tried to Share the App from the on screen menu via AirDrop but all it sent was a photo.
The App is on the web page of Mobidia but the link takes you to iTunes?
This is not the only App that I seem to have the problem with, another is Data Diary although I found it on the web the link does not take you to the App Download
Sharing an app does not give a copy of the app to anybody else, you will only be sharing an image of the app.
It's possible that the developers of those apps have temporarily (e.g. if there is a problem with them or they are putting an updated version in the store) or permanently removed them from the store. Any links that the developer's have on their website should take you to the store, that is the only place that you can download apps for iOS devices.
You could try contacting the developers and see if they are planning on putting their apps back in the store, until if/when they do then your friends won't be able to download them (and you won't be able to redownload them, so if you haven't already done so you may want to copy the app to your computer's iTunes library).

When photoshop installs on windows 8, odds are you will not see it on the start page. You will need to right click on the background or if you upgraded to 8.1 then click on the down arrow at the bottom left of start page.
This will bring up a page that shows all apps. Scroll across until you see photoshop CC or photoshop CC 2014. Click on that name to bring it up. Before you do, you can right click on that name and pin it to the start page and or the taskbar. Then it will be easier for you run it the next time. -
I have Photoshop CS5 and a Nikon D 810 camera. I have downloaded Camera Raw 8.8 & DNG converter. I can neither open the raw files (.nef), nor process them with the DNG converter. What is going wrong? Thanks!

Thanks a lot! After I sent the above post, I tried that. It worked a little. Some of the ones that I Purchased would not come up. I followed instructions from Apple about going to Purchased and downloading them again, but ran into another problem. They are greyed on my Mac and they will not download again. It says to click on the iCloud beside them, but there is not one visible. iCloud is set up, at least I thought it was. I am sure there is a simple explanation, but I am missing it!

We are looking for music hits according to various decades. iTunes used to have a hits of the 30s -90s etc. I can no longer find it. Any hints people?
Also, what are the legalities about sharing music? At what point does a song become part of the public domain?

Quit iTunes...
Download Cocktail and start the program... click on the 'interface' Icon and tick 'Show Invisible Items' then click the Restart button...
In a finder window click on the Icon that is your Boot Volume in the Side Bar ... select users ... select shared folder ... select the folder named 'SC info' and put it in the trash and empty it ... Do Not touch any other file.
Pathway looks like this HD > users > shared > SC info > SC Info.sidb
Go back to the Cocktail 'interface' window and untick Show Invisible Items and click restart .. quit Cocktail.
Start iTunes after deletinng this folder and it will prompt you to enter your authorization information again ... see now if your problem still exists...

Can anyone help please?Third party apps cannot do much to change the lock screen. Music apps are about the only exception I know of. Some clock apps have a setting to disable auto lock while they are running. I generally use that type of setting when I'm using my iPhone as an alarm clock. As you'd be likely to have your phone plugged in overnight anyway, this shouldn't be a problem.

Does Photoshop Elements 12 editor on mac downloaded from app store work ok with retina display??

I was wondering if any has purchased photoshop elements 12 editor via the app store for a mac and does it have the function to display it properly for a retina display screen. I have lightroom which works a treat as it has ability to work with this screen. I see on the adobe website that their version of elements 12 does not support retina display. Before i buy this product i would like to know if it works properly otherwise it will be a waste of money. I also have elements 11 via adobe themselves which i can use but the text does not look sharp, as it does't support retina display. I have tried to restart my ipod. Shutting it down completely and restarting it.
I have reset my network connections. My internet is working because I am able to get on here on my computer.

How to upgrade my iPad to iOS 5 from my PC iTune. Due to my iPad said no charging after I connect by USB cable and iTune display iPad and don't show any other issue on screen.

Why can I print from my iPhone and not my iPad? I have been able to do it in the past. I have tried a hard reset but it still cannot find the printer.
In addition to rebooting the router and the iPad, I would reset the printer as well. Unplug the printer from power and do the same with the router. Leave the router unplugged for about 30 seconds. Plug the router in first and let it totally start up, plug the printer in again, and then reboot/reset the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. Your WiFi passwords, location services, device preferences all have to be re-entered. You will not lose any data or media whatsoever. -
How can I download Lion if I can no longer find it in the App store?

I tried to upgrade to Mountain Lion from (Snow Leopard) but it says that my computer is incompatable. So I was trying upgrade to Lion but I can no longer find it at the app store. What should I try next?

Have you contacted app support or maybe view this video from the website? Are you trying to play them within the app itself? Did you double tap on the video that you want to watch?

It says I'm logged into my Apple ID on my App Store but when I try to download an app it comes up with my mums Apple ID asking for her password yet I have never used her email or Apple ID to login in? Could this be cause we have back up on same comp?

My macbook software is up to date but I am still unable to download the app store, any ideas?
I have a macbook which is about 5 years old now and is not yet running OS X Lion. I checked for software updates and it says my system is up to date. Unfortunately it still wont let me download the app store without updating my software but there is nothing to update from what i can see. Im trying to upgrade to OS X lion but i cant get that till i figure out how to download the app store so if anyone knows another way to go about it I would appreciate that.

How do I speed this up. I have a fast internet connection but this is obviously not right.
The speed of the downlaod is dependant on the speed of your Internet connection. "I have a fast Internet connection...," doesn't actually mean anything unless you provide some numbers.
I have a cable Internet connection with 32 Mbps download speeds, but if you have DSL, you would probably be limited to 1.5 Mbps. Some would call both of these connections "fast," but obviously one is faster than the other.
What is the speed of your Internet connection?? Don't say, "fast."
