I have downloaded the latest Adobe Flash - it says successful but will not work. It says to 'Manage Plug-ins but the Plug-in says it is enabled but it will not work at all. I have tried disabling and then enabling - no success. Please help!
There's two different versions of Flash. The ActiveX version for IE, and the Plugin version for other browsers. Did you install the correct version? This forum's software doesn't thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here: <br />
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version]. <br />
Save it to your Desktop.<br />
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit <br />
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, <br />
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
4. Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
* On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen). <br />
See this: <br />

When I want to play a video, it asks me to download the latest Adobe Flash player, and the iPad won't do that.
The iPad doesn't and never will support the Flash program. You will need to download and install a different browser like the aforementioned Skyfire. Photon and Puffin are also mentioned as browsers that support Flash. Or see if the place you're accessing that video from has an app.

How to download the latest adobe flash
Everytime I try to dowbload the latestversion of adobe flash; I can't: Blocked Plug-in shows instead of the program. What does blocked plug-in mean? How do I download the latest version of adobe flash?
ThanksI have the same issue. 2 days ago I upgraded (at Adobe's recommendation) my Flash Player (which was working fine!)--now I can't get anything except the message "Blocked Plug-in". And, I called Adobe almost an hour ago for assistance, told they would call back in 12-17 minutes, but here I am still waiting. This same thing has happened to me before and I cannot remember how it got fixed. I'm thinking Adobe may not be the best company with regard to servicing their products.

Why am I unable to download the latest adobe flash?
Every time I go to update my Adobe Flash it tells me I cannot continue unless I close the safari, but I do not have it open, and I am unsure of what to do to get it to successfully download.
Are you trying to update through the System Preference pane? If so, try going to -> http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ - and downloading from there. The pref pane installer might 'think' that Safari is open, so try this route.
Good luck,
Clinton

I downloaded the latest Adobe Reader update when prompted. Since then I cannot use Safari>File>Print to print web pages - the printer dialogue window opens, but the page remains blank. Also when I try to use the Safari Help button, the dialogue box opens but remains infuriatingly blank. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
