I have downloads that I did not authorize. How do I stop it.

There are apparently purchases made within December and January that I have not requested nor authorized. I purchased an Itunes card and placed the money in my account. I just checked and there are purchases made that I did not request. What do I do to stop this and if possible retrieve my money back.

    There is no automatic way to do this because any purchases made with your account are assumed to be authorized by you.  If this involved account hacking you can report it to iTunes Store but purchases made with a credit card should be reported to the card fraud department.

    You've checked the purchase history on your iTunesaccount ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
    If they are happening monthly then you do you have any auto-renewing subscriptions that you haven't cancelled ? There are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098

    The amount, $24.99, ties up with the cost of iTunes Match in the US - have you subscribed to it and/or is it due for renewal ?

    I wanted to syn my phone to my ITunes today, so i could put an audio book from my laptop to my IPhone and ITouch.  When I opened IYunes, there is a "Shared Library" that I did not authorize that is in my ITunes that is over 550 GB of data.  I don't want it, and I want to earase it, but can't figure out how to do that.  Can you help me get rid of it?  Also, how di I set up my ITunes to not allow this in the future?  I am in the military deployed in Afghanistan, so communications and internet are terrible.  Please help.

    Edit > Preferences > General tab, untick Shared Libraries so you don't see those shared by others on the same network, then go to the Sharing tab and untick Share my library on my local network, if ticked, so that you are not sharing yours. Click OK.

    Contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. They should then issue a credit to your account.
    And you might want to change your password to your iTMS account, just in case someone has indeed gotten access to your account.

    Since you disputed the charges with your credit card company, the CC company reversed the charges and Apple (correctly) locked the AppleID.
    You will need to contact Apple -> http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/contact/
    and explain what happened.
