I have FF android 29. My disk usuage shows that it has 145 MiG of space used. Why is this so large?
I've cleared my cache, cookies, and history. What exactly is included in each of the catagories? What is included in the data file? Would that include bookmarks or downloaded files? Could it be backups flooding my phone? What is using up so much space? Thanks
Normally the Cache is the largest file usage on Firefox for Android.

I recently purchased an iPhone 5c and for some unknown reason I can't connect to my wireless router's network at home. I've tried establishing a seperate IP address, manually adding the iPhone device, and even spent an hour with Centurylink's IT support and they couldn't figure it out. They said it was an iPhone error. I had an iPhone 3 about 1 1/2 years ago that had the same problem. I ended up getting rid of the phone because I couldn't solve this problem before. I thought a newer phone would not have the same problem.
My phone shows that I'm connected to my home internet, but when I open up network information for my home internet there is no IP Address listed. Safari and my other apps also state that I'm not connected to the internet. I'm ready to sell my phone back and go to an Android since I didn't have trouble connecting with it before. We also have a Macbook and iPad that both connect to the internet just fine. Please....oh please help.I was having the same problem; I tried all the recommended fixes in the "more like this" and nothing worked, but finally found the answer. Is it possible to move VM from one subscription to another subscription directly ?I think Yes. If you have the copy of OS (image) and data disk VHDs then you can copy that in your new subscription. And then create VM using that image. It has nothing to do with subscription.

I would like to transfer music from my account to my wife`s on the same Mac but different 2 users (hers and mine), i want her to have her own i tunes account but now that she has downloaded all of her stuff in my account , she has to "erase and sync" all of her stuff when she opens her account which has nothing in it!, how can i send stuff from my i tunes account to hers? same computer different users, how can i trouble shoot please help!!??

I currently have 1,177 photos on my iphone (4s) but it takes up 4.9 GB of space. Why is it so large? I do not use photostream - this is simply within my "Camera Roll". Other than deleting the photos, can someone tell me another solution?
My friend has over 2,000 photos on her iphone and it only used 1.7 GB of space and I know I had at one point over 3,000 photos on my phone and still had space left for more.
Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Melissa.When you open your camera app, does it say "HDR on" at the top?
HDR photos are better quality but take up much more space.
Also, go to Settings>photos and camera. Scroll down to "keep normal photo". Is it on? This feature saves a normal copy and an HDR copy of every photo you take.
I bet your friend has this feature turned off along with the HDR as well. -

I am trying to upgrade two MACs to Maverick. I have been successful with My Power Mac but unable to get my Imac to load. I am running Snow Leopard on the Imac. When I go to the App Store it shows that it has been downloaded. Any ideas? Any ideas

A Power Mac is incapable of being upgraded to Mavericks. It is a PPC Mac which can only run versions of OS X up to 10.5.8 and no higher. Any version of OS X higher that 10.5.8 requires an Intel processor to run.
Does the iMac meet the hardware requirements for Mavericks?

Again you need to look at how to manage the device - these settings can be turned off already & you can edit the 'suggestions' too.
Settings > General > Keyboards > turn Auto-Correction Off.
Sadly you cannot disable autocorrect temporarily, so it's all or nothing. -

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded. When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:
iTunes has stopped working.
The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up. The computer will shut down the website.
"Check online for a solution and close the program"
"Close the program."
There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details. When clicked a long list of items show up. I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them. I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version. How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?
Here are some of the Problem Details:
"Problem signature: APPCRASH
Application Name: iTunes.exe
Application Version: 11.0.1.12
Application Timestamp: 50c8fc7e"I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

I have purchased items, both songs and tv shows, that do not show up in "past purchases".
I have purchased multiple songs and at least one tv show that don't show up in iCloud as available for re-download onto a new computer, including three songs from the same album (the other songs from that album showed up just fine). And no, I'm not restoring my entire hard drive just so I can have access to something I've already paid for, as has been previously suggested.
Been having the same problems all week. And am got a generic, not-at-all-helpful response from my initial inquiry with support, then absolutely no response to my follow-up requests. There seem to be a fair number of people posting this problem, so not sure why we're being ignored.
Was able to eventually download the episodes manually via the 'purchased' link, but it's about 10 more steps than normal.
Also noticed that itunes isn't recognizing my purchases at all, not just season passes. If I go to a page of a show where I buy episodes individually, it doesn't show which episodes I have previously bought like it used to.
