I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning? Presently after exporting and burning each photo is identified by the file name rather than each individual title description.

File name and Title are not the same thing.
Filename is attached to the Jpeg file in the Finder.
Title is attached to the photo within the Jpeg file - as is the description. These are written to the Exif and IPTC metadata on export.
So: File -> Export. Kind: Jpeg or Tiff and Check the box at 'Title and Keywords'. This will write the Title, keywords and descriptions (though not explicitly stated) to the metadata. This can then be viewed in any app that understand this material.
You can choose, if you wish, to also use the Title as a Filename - that's an option at File Name

Post the PDF files to a web site. The browse to them in Safari on the iPad. When you Open the files specify the Open to occur in Adobe Reader. Then you can have/Save them in your Documents folder on the iPad. An iPad has limited access to files otherwise.

Where is your site hosted? If it's hosted on MobileMe you can use SEO to edit the site online. No need to get it locally.
If the site is hosted with a 3rd party fpt client then publish your site to a folder on your hard drive, use SEO on it there and then upload the site to your server with a 3rd party ftp client.

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
See how you go.

What do I have to do to bring iPhoto up so that I can use the program?

This morning we received a software update for iPhoto (36MB) immediately after this download and installation we received a second software update for iPhoto (57.7MB). Shortly after finishing the second update I tried to open iPhoto to work on a slideshow of holiday activities.
I went to:
Dock > iPhoto
Message: " The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto."
upgrade ( I clicked on the upgrade button)
"Loading photos... " " Examining Photo Library "
Everything stopped.
New screen: " There is a problem accessing one or more files in your iPhoto Library folder. >Finder, >iPhoto Library, >get info., ... check read/write permissions."
I proceeded as directed. Permissions were all read/write for the iPhoto Library folder.
I went back to iPhoto... repeat of problem.
What do I have to do to bring iPhoto up so that I can use the program.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What was updated and did you repair disk permissions after it was completed?
As a first fix attempt download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administartive name in the owner and group sections. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB file backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Sorry we do not support this. What you can do though is add a Formatted Text element and add a link to a PDF. To insert a link add some text, select the text and right click on the text (or look under the Insert menu in the top right of the scene)

Thank you for your reply but I am more confused then ever. I only have a PC for now so a friend set up my icloud account on his airbook (?). Is it because I am using a PC that I can't use icloud to move thing. The TV shows take up a lot of computer space and my showed me on his Mac by right clicking the menu there was an option to "send to icloud" or some close to that.

I type notes between therapy sessions and frequently do this in my car without wifi available. I need a way to access PDF files that I can type in and save and be able to AirPrint from when I am connected to wifi at a later time, I currently have these documents saved in Dropbox and open them on my ipad or iPhone in Adobe Reader but don't have a way to save and use offline. I tried iBooks but it doesn't allow me to edit. I need specifics on how to do this please. search the app store for PDF Writer. I've found a lot that will convert documents to PDF, but none yet that will write within the PDF. One thing you want to avoid are cloud based apps. Any of them that talk about editing on the cloud, etc, aren't going to be as standalone as you want.
It's possible, if you can take your template PDF, turn it into a word document that you can edit, you can then convert that to PDF...kinda a workaround way to do what you want. And apps that convert to PDF are much easier to find

Finally figured out how to turn my passcode of for my iPhone 5c

Okay so I have an iPhone 5c and I was having issues with my mom snooping at my text messages (I'm 42 lol) so I set up a passcode on my phone. Well she's now moved out of my home so I wanted to take the passcode off so I went to Settings->Passcode but the "Turn Passcode Off" option was greyed out (not available). I searched all through these discussions and could not find one forum in which someone was able to answer the question, "How do I turn my passcode off on my iPhone 5c if the Turn Passcode Off option is greyed out (unavailable)?" I got very frustrated because every thread I read ppl were suggesting to reset the phone or completely wipe it and install a back up or they suggested that the person asking the question had an exchange email account and therefore the exchange email account would need to be deleted from the phone. Even the final mention of an exchange email account didn't always seem to have a resolution described in complete detail.
So I wanted to share how I was able to remove my passcode so it would at least be on the forums somewhere for others. So while reading one of the posts about the whole exchange email account, I read a reply that mentioned checking to see if the exchange account setting was still in the profiles and I had my ah ha moment. I went to Settings->General->Profiles and the only thing there was my Lock & wipe profile. I selected remove then went back to Setting->Passcode and sure enough the "Turn Passcode Off" option was available. Now I don't recommend removing the Lock & Wipe feature as it may make your phone more vulnerable to being accessed if it's lost or stolen. So pls keep this in mind as I'm not sure if you can then go back and enable the Lock & Wipe feature without again being requires to set up a passcode. So I'll post an update once I figure that part out.
I hope this helps some other poor soul out there that is searching to the ends of Google Earth to try and figure this out. If you're trying to turn your passcode off and you have a company exchange email account set up on your phone, you should probably check the profiles installed on your phone as that's likely where the problem with accessing Turn Passcode Off lies. However, you may be in direct violation of your employment agreement or email terms of use if you are able to remove the profile and keep the exchange account on your phone thereby allowing you to access your company email account without having a passcode set up on your phone. Again, I'm not sure if that's possible but just be aware if it is.

I am trying to apply for the FAFSA at a ed.gov/ site. They say that my foxfire 5.0 is not compatible . They want me to downgrade to foxfire 3.5 or 3.6 - so far I have not figured out how to do this.

Their site redirects me to a download page with links for many different browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.) When I push the downloadable for mozilla, it redirects me to your page with the 5.0 upgrade. But my problem is that 5.0 is not compatible with their web page, i need 3.5 or 3.6 according to their techs. But they could not tell me how to do this.

You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.19 version to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.

Finally figured out how to get Faces to "stick"

I have a smart album of photos with no faces, and I could not get rid of 6 photos - tried deleting the faces, redoing them, but nothing would get iPhoto to "accept" the photo had no unassigned names.
I did the following:
1. Opened the offending photo
2. Went into "edit" mode
3. Reverted to the original (photo had been previously edited)
4. Went into "Info" mode
5. Lo and behold, there in a far corner and/or a part of the photo I had previously edited out, was an unassigned name.
6. Deleted this unassigned name
...Viola, the photo no longer had no name assigned. This fixed all 6 of my offending photos.
Don't know if this will help anyone else, but it did get rid of this frustrating problem for me.

I didn't need to download ODAC101040.exe because "OraOLEDB10.dll" is installed with the "Universal" version that supports Unicode, and is located in the bin directory. Again thanks.

Version 4.0 or newer of Libre Office can open and edit Publisher files, this is fairly new, you may not have noticed it yet,
I tested it last week for another OP, it works very well, so finally there is a Mac application that can replace Publisher.

It will show pictures and videos if I choose, Start Slideshow, but it won't show anything else, no apps, etc.

I also have not figured out how to mirrow either. I ask you both, is the sound via the projector louder than the phone itself when projector is tuerned off? No matter what I do the max vilume through the projector speakers is lower that the phone itself even with phone remaining installed in projector. I am think of taking it back to try another one.
