Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

i can't open "special characters" in any Edit pull down menu. i have a constantly flashing empty window labelled 'characters' that i haven't been able to stop.
it appears every time i click on anything. any suggestions? tru thanxI, too, have found Bridge very unstable. I find this to be extremely disappointing, seeing as it's literally the most expensive piece of software I've ever purchased for personal use. I've seen these two symptoms:
1. When running in full screen mode, Bridge crashes periodically. This happened on Vista, so I blamed Vista (of course), but even after regressing to XP SP2, I see the same symptoms.
2. Although I didn't see this on Vista, running on XP I see the problem described earlier in this thread, where clicking on a thumbnail displays the wrong image preview. When this happens the image displayed is one from a different folder! I solve the problem by clearing the cache, and it's OK for a while, but the problem keeps returning.
3. Even when exiting cleanly from Bridge (using File->Exit), Bridge often forgets where I was working in my previous session. I need to re-navigate from the very top level directory down through the hierarchy to my photo directory.
Again, it's very disappointing to invest so much in a single software package only to see such basic operations malfunction. -
My old computer crashed and I am trying to download Adobe X Pro on my computer. I have tried to download and the only download I can find is the Adobe XI Pro. Any help would be appreciated. I have the product key but it's not deactivated on my old computer.

ThanksThe netgear is not going to work very well.. and not at all unless it is universal wireless extender.. you cannot use WDS method.
If it does support universal wireless then make sure the airport uses a rational SMB compatible wireless name.. not an apple name which is 35 characters long with spaces and illegal characters like apostrophe.
So nice AE name.. AEwifi and actually while you are trying.. fruitlessly to do this.. use AE24ghz and AE5ghz (so different names on the different bands)
Assuming your AE is gen3 or greater.
You should also fix the wireless channel at least for 2.4ghz since the netgear is probably only going to repeat 2.4ghz so use channel 11, as a trial.
And use no wireless security as a test.. if that works.. then use WPA1 & 2.. as often old equipment using WPA2 is not compatible.
If it fails with simple name.. fixed channel and no security. Sorry it is not compatible at all.. it happens.
If your AE is G wireless or earlier model.. really the time has come for replacement.
If your Express is G wireless model it is not supported.. and is too old to bother with expect I guess if you want to run audio to a speaker.
You must use older 5.6 utility to do this.. so do you have a computer running older OS.. up to Mountain Lion it is easy to install with a bit of manipulation.. later is much harder .. or windows computer anywhere or available to you. -
Can you install tiger on a power mac g4 with out a DVD drive if so how, I do have have a 2011 iMac can I use that in target disk mode with a FireWire cable any help would be appreciated

You need to put the Tiger Install Disc in the 2011 iMac, boot the 2011 uMac into Target mode...

Boot the G4 holding the Option or alt key, hopefully the Install Disc in the 2011 iMac will show as a boot choice.
We just want to use the 2011 iMac as a big expensive FW Optical drive, it cannot be installed osing the 2011 iMac itself. -

I've been using iCloud since it's inception as "mac.com" or whatever it was called. I've been able to Sync Outlook Exchange Calenars to my iMac, iPhone and iPad. However, I cannot get iCal (when viewed in iCloud) to display Exchange or Google Calender items.
It's odd, all other Mac versions of iCal are happy e.g. iMac, MacBook Air, iPad Air, iPhone etc. But nothing when I login to icloud.com and look at the iCal there. -

Yeeee, I did this! I follow the instruction as you wright here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1362457 and now my image 100% in the size I need.
"After the image has been placed and resized, go to it in the Assets panel and right click and choose "Import Larger Size". By default Muse limits imported images to 2048 pixels in the largest dimension."
I create a composition of images in Photoshop and now I need to paste them into Muse in exacte size like in Photoshop. I save my images in Photoshop by naming them 200% imagename.png and then go to Muse- File - Place. After that I follow resize image and in the Assets panel import Larger size.
Is that the easiest way to past images from psd? -
I hAVE A 2011 macbook pro, i've noticed that hardrive usage from 180 gig went up slowly to 260 gig after several months, and i didn't even install any software or saved anything at all that big? Why is that? Is it becasue of the many software updates that Apple sends? I already checked my files but i don't find anything that would cause that much of a big jump.
