I have found an Ipad 3 I believe it was stolen. How can I contact the previous owner to buy it from him ?
I have bought in a flea market an Ipad 3 Wifi only I believe it was stolen. When I bought it the battery was discharged so I couldn't verify it for being locked (stolen). After I charged it and turned it on it's locked in Icloud.
How can I contact the previous owner to buy it from him ?
I don't have anything. The Ipad is Icloud locked. It only shows : s********@googlemail.com

I don't know what you want to hear, but no one here can help you. apple will not help you.
What you're dealing with is the activation lock, where it's required for the person that sets up the iPad to 'release' it to be used by someone else.
There's no hack or crack. There's no assistance anyone here can give you beyond the suggestions we already have.
Use your imagination. Or use the ipad as a pretty new paperweight.

I sympathize with you. I'm in the same predicament right now. The person I purchased my iPad from won't respond to my queries. Everyone online will act like you are a thief. If half of them used their brains for a minute, maybe they could come up with one of many scenarios where you would be legitimately locked out of an iPad you legally purchased. In my case, the previous owner left all their personal items on the iPad and I went to erase all contents. It asked me for the Apple ID, I figured it was asking to return checked out books or something. Second time it didn't ask me and reformatted the iPad, but now I'm stuck at activation.
To answer JimHdk's question, Apple doesn't even show you the full email address. It's literally shown as S******@hotmail.com so you can't email that person.
This is a horrible idea on Apple's part. They should have made it painstakingly clear that you can't even "reformat" and activate the iPad without this ID. Especially since iOS7 is relatively young and no previous version of iOS had this feature. This will hurt legitimate users more than thieves. Even if, from all the people affected, only 10% are legitimate users, that's still a huge number. Apple should give us some other way to resolve this issue. -
The other day I bought an ipad with the new ios software on and it was in recovery mode, I took ot to the police on the day as I thought it was stolen, the police returned it to me today as it was legit but I cannot restore it and I have no way of finding out the owner? ThanksThe easiest way to find your serial number is this Open Itunes...click help... run diagnostics.....(tick or untick as necessary) so that you just have ticked the last two, device connectivity and device sync. run these tests. it will say no ipod/ipad found but will give results of test....scroll down to bottom of results... here you will find the serial number of your last attached devices.

If you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen, and if it is still turned on and connected to the internet with Find My iPad enabled, you can do this by going to icloud.com as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f0165.

You can create up to 3 alias addresses but you have to do this on icloud.com from your computer browser. This article explains how: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622. Also, incoming email to an alias address will go to your current iCloud inbox so it really isn't a separate account; just a different email address for the same account.
Each iCloud account only has a single iCloud email account. If you really want to set up another, you would need to add a secondary iCloud account by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, then entering a different Apple ID to create the account. You can then turn on Mail to create the new account. Mail in secondary accounts, however, is fetch email, not push (which is only supported in the primary account). -

I bought many apps from iTunes at the end of last year, and then my computer had got problem that I had to format and reinstall everything.
I just want to know how can I restore the previously bought apps once if I forgot to backup any of my files on the computer??

Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.
