I have got two Apple ID how do I get rid of one

At present there is no way to combine 2 Apple IDs and once an Apple ID is created it never goes away.
All you can do is Not Use the one you no longer want. Just let it fade away. The only problem with that is anything that is now registered to it or that you bought from any of the Apple store with it can not be transferred to some other Apple ID. So you would need to repurchase those items under the Apple ID you want to keep.

Sign out of the account you don't want and then Sign In with the account you want to use.

You probably figured it out by now! But if someone else is wondering...
Open the icalendar app up and click on the word Calendar (bottom of page). A box pops up called 'Show Calendars', scroll to the bottom of the page to 'Other' and uncheck US Holidays. The next time you sync your ipad from your iMac, it will only copy US holidays from your computer calendar.

Look at the manage your account on each to determine which one is the right one for you. and then use the delete account option on the iCloud account you dont want

Besides signing out of the account, you will need to delete the apps on the device that were purchased under that ID.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

I own a first gen itouch whick I've had for quite a while and over the years I've purchased all kinds of things from music to short films........how do I get all of those purchases on to my two new current gen itouches? If you used the Apple ID to buy content, you will need to maintain the ID to update or redownload the content. Apple does not transfer content from one ID to another, nor does Apple merge Apple IDs.

You can't delete the All On My Mac as it is an automatic group to display all of the contacts that are stored "On My Mac." You can delete all of the contacts that are in the ON MY MAC section by selecting All ON My Mac and then selecting all contacts. Press delete and approve the deletion. Then, select each group under ON My Mac and delete those individually.
Then, Make sure iCloud is set as the default account in the General Address Book Preferences.
