I have been using Adobe reader for PC to download my eBooks but the eBook Vendor has switch to Digital Addition,

Try completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your Adobe ID.

I have a new iPhone 4 which I cannot sync until I upgrade to the latest version of iTunes software (version 10.2.2). Upon trying to upgrade, I keep receiving a message which states, "The URL could not be opened." Anyone else had the same problem & does anyone have a solution? I just got an iPhone 4 and have been downloading apps from the iTunes store when I encountered difficulty with two specific apps. Each time I try to download dictionary and star walk I get a message saying they are over 50MB and I need to be connected to iTunes to download, which I've tried to no avail. I also thought that when I sign into iTunes on my PC that it would automatically show that my iPhone device is connected (just like it does with my iPod) but it doesn't show the phone icon. I am not sure iTunes is recognizing my phone. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -
When I hit "Quick Filter" It shows the number of unread messages, but there are no messages below in my inbox. I don't know what I did. Please help me undo this!
right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button. Repeat the quick filter and see if anything changes.

I cannot get .arw or jpeg files from my Sony A6000 to be taken into my Lightroom 4.4 via the normal "synchronise" process. I have updated my Pc to Adobe RAW/DNG 8.4 with no improvement. Can you help please?
With regards to your .arw files:
You need to either purchase and install Lightroom 5.4 -- OR -- download and install and use the FREE Adobe DNG Converter version 8.4, did you actually launch and use the DNG Converter?
There should be no problem importing JPG files into Lightroom from your camera, what happens when you try? Is there an error message? -
I have an Ipod touch version 4.2.1 and the instructions do not detail how to update to iOS 5. Can you help me with step by step instructions.
iOS 4.2.1 suggests that you may have 2nd generation Touch, which cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1
Check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 for help in identifying your model. A quicker method may be to check the back casing. If your iPod has Model No.A 1288 etched into it, then it's a 2nd gen Touch.
Assuming that you are using the latest version of iTunes (today, that is 10.6.3), to check if your iPod can be updated, connect it to your iTunes and look on the Device/Summary pane. Select Check for Updates. If there is one, you will see a message telling you that and how to install it. However, if you see a message saying that your iPod is up-to-date, then it cannot be updated. -
My nook app keeps telling me "Please be sure you have internet connectivity, then try again." I am currently connected to wifi and it seems that all my other apps that need to be connect to the internet are properly working. I have turn off my phone, signed off my wifi, installed a new app, but nothing is working. My friend is having similar issues. My phone is up to date. I even tried taking off the wifi in hopes that it could just connect to the 3g but nothing. Not sure if anyone else is experiencieng this issue or knows what I can do. I think that it may be an app problem that needs fixed, but not sure. Help!
Maybe its a Viber problem. As that is not an Apple product, why don't you try and contact the developer?

I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

How did you upgrade to Yosemite? Did you make a clean install and wiped the drive? Or did you install on top of the current system? In what way have you lost the photos?
is the iPhoto Library missing? Or do you get an error message, when you try to open iPhoto? What error message exactly?
Have you already updated the iPhoto application? You need to update to iPhoto 9.6 for MacOS X 10.10. The earlier versions will not work. -

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.) -

I am running Lion 10.7.2 and I have an external drive hooked to my time machine. I can't rename folders and when trying, I get an error code 8076. The checkbox "ignore permissions for this device" does not show on volume info. Help please???
The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)
