I Have iphone3s ever since i updated it it no longer reads my sim card.
Hi was wondering if any one can help me out with the issue im having. I have iphone3s with att. It was damaged recently, my sister gave her her old iphone3s(same carrier) since she upgraded 2 4S. I installed my sim card it was working fine .I did the update to the phone. Now it doesnt read my sim card. Dont understand why? I had the sim card check. Not damaged at all. I have tried doing the reset doesnt seem to work. I am at my wits end. I just need it to last for 2 more months so i can upgrade. No the phone is not unlock phone or jail broken, etc. I need my phone to work. It wont sync up wit my libaery like it once was.if any one can help me i would apreciate it ty.

I recently updated to the newest version of Flash (17.0.0.134) and I have a MacBook Air, running OS X and I have Safari version 8.0.4. Ever since the update I can no longer select drop down menus or get Netflix to run properly. Has anyone else had this issue/know how to resolve it?
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
Press the “Check Now” button.

Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.
Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player. -
I should note, I am using the latest version as of today, I am using the portable version, and I have a TON of addons, a list of which I can post if I have to. Any Ideas what could be causing this? I use the "Open link in a New Tab" option every single day. I don't want to have to hit some special button to do so like my current temporary workaround with tab mix plus, I miss the old method, the option is still there in the context menu, but it won't do a single thing ever :(. Also not working is "Open Link in This Tab" and "Open Link in Duplicated Tab" (Not that I ever use those ones so who give a F). "Open Links in New Tabs" Still works though, but not for single links, so its not an ideal workaround. I can't afford to simply reset the browser, my settings, my addons, everything would be gone. I could back it up with FEBE but then I would be right back where I started. :(
Guys, I should wrap this up and let you all know so this page may help those experiencing the Firebug Context Menu Glitch. It's messed up, that was one of my favourite programs :(. Now looking for a version that doesn't do that.

I have an older ipod...ever since I updated the itunes software my ipod no longer works in my car. my car is a 2013 mercedes E350. Is there a way to go back to an older version of the itunes software?
If it's an older iPod, its software is not being updated by Apple. So, I don't see how updating iTunes would make the iPod not work with the car's audio system, since iTunes just updates the song files (not how the iPod operates).
Does the iPod work by itself (play songs), when disconnected from the computer and iTunes? -
Ever since I updated my iPhone 4S and my iPad 2 to IOS 6 all my iMessages are coming to both my iPhone and my IPad. How do I stop the iMessages I send and receive on my phone from receiving on my iPad as well? I have tried going into my settings and making sure I'm only set up to receive iMessages to my cell number and not my email....but that didn't fix the problem.
Here the way to do it, for both, or for only one Go into your settings, Messages and turn on iMessage. It will then send messages that are iMessages to both your iPad and iPhone. You can also turn off this feature on the iPad if you do not want to receive messages on the iPad.

Yes, they told me I should contact apple, but apple hasn't helped me either! The iHome has worked perfectly all along and it still is working it has power just will not connect anymore to play my music.

I have several very important school related documents on my iPad in the Pages app. Ever since i updated to iOS5, i can no longer open any documents in Pages that I made before I updated. Please help
Without the iPad connected, open up iTunes on your computer. Go to iTunes/Preferences/Devices and delete the backups that you're absolutely certain do not have the documents. Refer to figure below.
iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "NO" to creating a backup. (You don't want to create a new backup that does not have the docs.) You will then be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad. This time, say "yes."
Repeat all of the above as required until you get the docs. -
Ever since I updated to the IOS 6, I no longer can play my music in the car! It is plug and play! It just sits there saying connecting and nothing happens. A couple of my friends have said the same thing. Any ideas? Help please!
Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip.. -

i am having problems opening iTunes! ever since I updated to 10.5.3ver, I cannot open the application. After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 7.1, my computer won't go to the internet when I double-click the Mozilla Firefox icon, like it normally does; I have to restart my computer to be able to access the internet. Why?
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.<br />
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.<br />

So make sure that you keep the cookies from those sites via an allow exception and that you do not clear the cookies or site preferences via "Clear Recent History". -
