Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them. I can not click on those songs and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

You could do it by cloning. I have read OSX installations of a single version can be machine specific too, so even if this were a Tiger compatible drive a clone might not work. I haven't seen anybody actually state a specific case where they had problems on a machine compatible with the OS version because of this though. The last case I can recall of system specific installations was back in OS7 days with system enablers. I have moved Tiger between machines by moving the drive with no problems, but the machines were pretty similar models (both Quicksilver, just a year difference production model).

I have started using Roboform Lite 2.0.0, after Roboform it takes to much time to open Firefox and when i open a new tab, until the tab is fully loaded, Firefox is not responding. Please help.

Starting Firefox started to take too much time.
When i open a new tab, until the tab is fully loaded and Roboform realizes which website it is, Firefox does not respond.
When i tell Roboform to fill the username and password fields in a tab, until Roboform submits Firefox does not respond.
I mean, as if Roboform is not working background and Firefox cannot work multithread because of it. When i navigate from one tab to another, Roboform is also checking the tab and meanwhile Firefox is waiting for Roboform to finish its work.
Please help me about this problem.

I have Firefox 18.0.1 and when I click "Check to see if plugins are up to date", I get an uresponsive script warning.

When I click the link "Check to see if plugins are up to date" at the top of the Add-ons Manager page, it opens a new page like normal. The new page displays everything but the plugins and their status. The page just sits waiting for the status results to populate. If I try to click anything at this point, the page freezes and I see a message at the top of the window that Firefox has become unresponsive. If don't click and wait about 60 seconds, I get a "Warning - Unresponsive Script" message. I also see the following information with this warning:

This first happened yesterday, after accidentally removing Java from my PC - I think it was Java 6. When I tried to access Java downloads to re-install, I got the same unresponsive script message. So, I had to access Java downloads with IE instead of Firefox, and I re-installed Java (version 11, update 11). Has Java caused my problem? Should I attempt to find Java 6 and install it?

I initially tried to do this at 11:39pm last night. I cleaned up my apps, backed up to my computer and then took the plunge. It downloaded fine, everything went ok until I tried to restore backup. I received a message that there was an error in iTunes and iPhone could not be restored. I tried this three times giving up at 2:00 am. I tried again at 7:30am. No fix. Now I can open up phone and browse in safari. I can get notifications that a text was received or a phone message left but I can't receive or make phone calls, retrieve phone messages, or access any text features. Also I have NO purchased apps. I would start with going to O2 with the phone and making sure it's set up properly - maybe the SIM they gave you isn't quite right or their network isn't acknowleding it like it should.
Seeing as you've tried restoring to factory settings and resetting network settings, I'm assuming you've tried restoring the phone as new, just to see if that helped at all. If that didn't help, you definitely need to get in touch with O2 and work things out with them.

Anyway the issue is I have iTunes and just updated it to the latest. I also have various Apple devices however my iPhone won't sync with iTunes. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
The music is stored on the iTunes library. This library isn't deleted when you uninstall or reinstall iTunes, so you will keep everything. Anyway, it's better to make a backup of the library. Apart from that, you can download the purchased music as many times as you want

There are several ways in which an add-on can cause iTunes to act erratically, such as those listed below:
- Loss of iTunes functionality, such as the Visualizer.
- Distortion or irregularity in the iTunes interface.
- Slow performance.
- iTunes won't open or quits unexpectedly.
- You see an alert while syncing stating "... cannot be synced. A duplicate file name was specified."
If you notice any of the above symptoms or other unusual behavior, you can disable any plug-ins not manufactured by Apple by opening iTunes in Safe Mode. Then it should work just the same as on your old computer.

When i go to exit Firefox it wont let me use the button in the top right corner with the 'X' i have to go to the menu bar with all of the windows i have open and right click and click exit. Please help!!

I also had issues with my 4S. I just got the 5S and can't get it to read my phone. It did it once and I was able to download my music, but can't get my ringtones and i have 25 ringtones that I can no longer get to after paying for them!!! Please HELP. It no longer sees my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled I Tunes mltiple times.
