No, they are different apps. The beta one in icloud is for use by PC's as well as Mac's via a web browser and lets users collaborate on documents. It can't removed. Just ignore it if you have no use for it.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. a few days ago I successfully put a new battery in my ipod.
it has worked fine: charges plays all the music nothing weird.
Then I tried to hook it up to my computer and my itunes doesnt recognize it, windows sees it but I cant access it (says Ipod on drive G). i am in the process of updating it (2005-11-17) now but it appears to be frozen. the drive is full so i dont really know how long it will take and maybe its not frozen.
i also got this prompt:

I did theother 4 R's as well before this and even changed the cable just to make sure. any thoughts???

they are these blue straight plastic things with a little wedge hook doo dad on the end. they couldnt open the ipod initially , i used an exacto knife and pryed it open a little then got the plastics in there. Like changing a bike tube they give you two "irons" to work with. one to hold it open and the other to slid towards the top and bottom. it pops right open. you need to open it from the sides not the bottom or top. The mini i have no idea how to open i also thing the nano is built like the mini. I am sure if you google the battery replacement product it comes with instructions (but make sure you have good eyes, the writing and examples are TINY.

There is a possibility that when you plugged in your hard drive, after installing the new battery, it didn't plug all the way in. This is what happened to me. I just opened up the case and made sure that the hard drive was plugged in correctly. after that it worked fine.

If this same timeline can be exported to other file formats and can be shared successfully to DVD, possibly it's the longer render time in the Blu Ray processing that is the problem. In the Finder in Applications, right click Final Cut Pro dot app, choose Get Info and verify that Prevent App Nap is checked. If it isn't, check it and try again.

New iPhone 5s 64Gb works fine but glitters in video and sound while gaming and maps

just got a new one and cannot use it in full
It works perfect until I start a game or open maps or navigation.
Then the image and sound rattle as if it's a gpu malfunction.
Release iOS 7.0.4 and I do not know whether the problem is the result of updated OS or else.
The second totally the same iPhone works fine with no such problems.
Should I exchange it or it's some sort of the software problem?
Erased and restored from scratch 3 times, no change.

I have a hp photosmart premium c310. my printer works fine but i am having problems scanning.

I have a hp photosmart premium C310. I can print no problem but have recently tried to scan a document. I received the message 'Try starting scan from computer. Refer to documentation details'. This prompted me to look for the relevent file in order to scan from computer and it appears that the HP Solutions Centre has not downloaded properly. I have tried to reinstall software but each time the installation stops before it is completed. This appears on screen:

System preparation complete (Tick)
Installing software … configure product (Tick)
Installing item 7 of 7: Microsoft toolbar customized for HP ( at this point the program fails to complete installation)
Any help greatly appreciated.

riab, follow the link below and try using the full-feature software and drivers. I would be sure that before you do this that the printer is completely uninstalled and removed from your computer. Check in Programs and Features, Device Manager, and Devices and Printers.

Adrian, so glad to see your post. I have the exact same problem you do. I have two macs running the latest Lion and iTunes and when looking at the Home Sharing libraries there is no import button and there is also no pop-up menu allowing you to see only the files not already in your library. This must be something that was broken in just this last update because I have used those features just a couple of weeks ago.

My kids each have an iPhone. I just pay the bill. I set up 'find my iPhone' on my computer so I can use the app as more of a tracking device to locate my kids (they know this). I must have figured out how to lable the first phone I set up this way, because it is 'named'. But now that a second kid got an iPhone, I've managed to add that second phone to my 'find my phone' devices, but I can't seem to get into any kind of 'my devices' menu in order to now label the second phone with my other kid's name.

That is only a feature of iOS 5 or later...

Suddenly, I am unable to add photos to my project in Imovie 11. I have an IMac Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and have made several movies where this worked fine but for some reason, it has quit. Everything seems to be working fine except that?

I'm an oldtimer and have had this Mac for less than 2 yrs and have LOTS to learn - but I've climbed the curve a little. !'ve made several movies and published to YouTube and burned to disc using IDVD with reasonably good results. Each time I have added stills to my movies it has worked fine - but tonight, I'm suddenly unable to add them. I click "Photos" - select my photo - left click the photo and drag into the project while holding the click. Have the green "+" and the green highlight and even get the green vertical bar in the project but when I release the click, the photo simply disappears! One "clue" here may be this: I was able to add one still to this project and the only diff between it and the other still thumbnails now is that there is a "green check mark" on the thumbnail of the one successfully added. Any suggestions? (I do have the "advanced tools" option selected in IMovie Preferences.)

• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

On each machine turn on iCloud and sync all the available apps. Apple explains how to set up iCloud in http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
After doing this run software update on each machine and install all the suggested updates. If you still need help installing the most up-to-date versions of iLife and iWorks open the Mac App Store - click the Purchased tab and update all that need to be updated.

Since this is the second computer you've had this problem with, I recommend you look for answers on the iPhone forum. My thinking is it is an iPhone issue rather than a computer issue (unless it is some software incompatibility).
