Okay I have an apple IPod touch 4g 8gb and it will not turn on or charge or even show that the ipod needs to be charged so I am wondering if my IPod needs to be sent in to be fixed or if I should get a new one or if there is a possible way to recover it??

This is the first time it shut off and would not charge what so ever. The battery was charging and then it went blank and now it has been blank for awhile is there any possible way that the ipod itself can be turned on or even show up the needs to charge screen I do believe that the battery has gone bad and would like to know if this would cost to be replaced sense its not within the one year warenty????
If it does cost me I would like to know how much and where could I get it replaced at or have it referbished??????

I received a new iphone 4 and plugged it in to sync my stuff from my old iphone4 (it broke) and it will not transfer my songs or any of my apps. I have tried everything. I just want my new phone to have everything my old phone has on it. THANKS

I have a iPod touch 3rd generation and it will not turn on or charge.

This iPod, when ever I turn it on all I get is the apple logo. Then about five minuts later, it tells me to plug it up, you know, the low battery simbole. But the kicker is that it is always pluged up when it is doing this! Can you tell me how to restor this iPod? I've tried force recovery but I discontinued it from my account. Try resetting the iPad:

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

If you restore it as New it is most likely a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple store and they will replace it, as all iPhone 5's are still in warranty.

When I used the cloud restore to put the data from my old 3GS onto the device, it's prompting me for an Apple ID login with an email address (hotmail) that isn't mine! My old phone has NEVER had any Apple ID other than mine log into it, and the new one's a sealed box that I've opened and set up from scratch. Can anyone please explain this? I'm worried there's some kind of problem with my iCloud data being mixed with someone else's or something... Since I logged in with my own ID, it's downloaded the data perfectly fine, but I just got the Apple ID prompt again a moment ago with this same hotmail address in it... I'd be very grateful for any explanation!

In iTunes on your computer, select the Purchased section under STORE in the left column. Click on the first track and choose "Get Info" from the "File" menu.
In the "Summary" tab you'll see details of the purchaser of the track. Click Next to go through all your purchased music one by one until you find the ones you need to get rid of.
Unfortunately, there are no smart playlist rules that can filter tracks by the purchaser that I know of.

Replacements via Apple tech support are usually refurbished units, not new stock, though none of us here can say with certainty what you will receive. But you will not be able to tell the difference between new stock and a refurbished unit, and refurbished units generally go through more extensive testing than do new units, so getting a refurb may well be better than getting new stock.
