I have just got an ipod touch for christmas have created an apple account and linked it to my bank card so i could buy the odd app i have since bought a 69p app and it has done an update my bank account balance has changed by £1.58 can anyone advise
i would just like to know why when i bought a 69p app that it seems apple have taken 1.58 out of my bank account, the ipod has updated since i have had it but i was led to believe all the other free apps i downloaded were free, also that wifi was free so i cant see where the charge has come from, any advise would be very welcome, im a noob to apple merchandise.

That sounds like you've engaged one of the automatic syncing options for your nano.
Plug the nano in, and go into the Device screen for the nano in itunes. Is "manually manage ..." unchecked? If so, check the box for it, and click okay. Disconnect and reconnect the nano. Is the content on the nano able to be selected in your iTunes now? -
How can I get itunes to download on my PC. I just got an ipod classic for Christmas and can not get Itunes to download. Website goes to downloaded page but i never get a downloading popup. I even turned off my popup blocker.

I have purchased new iPod Touch from Uk for english use in France. When trying to set up and log into iCloud i get "Verification Failed. The Internet connection appears to be off line." My internet is on line via my Livebox so what am I doing wrong?
Have you gone into Settings to verify that your ipod is connected to some router? Have you logged in with the security code (if there is one defined for that router)? If it says the internet connection is offline, then the ipod is not properly connecting to the internet. Perhaps the router is the problem - new iDevices require routers have the latest firmware. Older appliances might connect through them, but many users have found that their routers don't work with newer devices.
Try doing this again at some public wifi area as a test. -
My daughter got an Ipod Touch for Christmas and I am having the worst trouble just setting it up.
I downloaded Itunes but the Ipod is not showing up. I have reinstalled it, restarted my computer, and the Ipod. I cannot figure out why this Ipod is not showing up. I cant see in my computer or on Itunes. It shows on Windows Media Player but I cannot add music to it. Please help! I have music already I just needed to add it for my daughter. I have went through the diagnostics and it still has not helped me any.
1. Itunes is up to date.
2. I have checked the USB cable and it is ok.
3. I verified the apple supported device is installed properly.
4. I restarted both the Ipod and my computer.
This is what I get with the 5, error code 10 device cannot start. -

Try:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I just got an iPod touch 5g for Christmas and last night I was FaceTiming a family member and I noticed my speaker sounded a little wired, like it blew out which I don't even know how I did it! I never have it up full blast! Does the 1 year limited warrenty cover it?

i just purchased 2 ipod touch for my kidz (9 & 10 yr. old) . and registered them both with my email. I didn't know every text message I receive, they too would get on their IPod Touch. HOw do I change this? And do I need to contact a Representative to add their own emails....?
Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -
Hi everyone! WE just got an ipod touch 8G. We do have wireless internet, but can't join the network with the ipod touch. Message comes up.."unable to join the network".....very frustrating! I just restored my ipod touch for the first time because it was unreadable in itunes, and I had manually backed up my ipod to iCloud prior.
The ipod is restored, but cloud not downloading any of my messages and pictures, and the other files that iCloud claims to back up?

Why is it not in itunes?
It should always be in itunes and included in your regular backup of your computer.
