Fire97 is corret. It appear that you have to resetup/activate the iPod. Just slide to unlock and following the on-screen prompts.

I have the Morning Coffee & FireShot extenion add-on but no icon to be seen around? How do I get it out? or what's wrong?

Basically I had it before and it worked perfectly fine but after updating Mozilla Firefox to the Beta 4 version (because it had the Sync feature available and Xmarks is closing down) and later deciding it wasn't to my liking I uninstalled the Beta 4 version and went back using the old one (version 3.6 ). That's where I noticed the Morning Coffee and FireShot icon missing. I closed, uninstalled and reinstalled both of them again but don't seem to see it still. Not sure what happened and why I don't see the icons around?

FireShot has several options for placing icons; Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, click FireShot, click Options, look on the General tab. Look at the other options while in that Options window for FireShot.

I disable add ons (like a netscape one that says "known to cause security issues" and it re-enables itself the next time Firefox starts.

For general library squiffiness following an upgrade the easiest thing is to restore your last backup, but I guess if it were that simple you wouldn't be here.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Make sure itunes is up to date.
Open itunes, connect ipod. If there is an update it available ti will prompt you to update. You can also click the Check for Updates button in the middle of the screen.

It depends on the video site. Some sites may only provide video content using Silverlight and if so you will need to install Silverlight. Silverlight is a Microsoft product and l works as a Firefox plugin. (If it is found to interfere with some Firefox processes you may of course disable Silverlight when it is not required.)
