I used disk permission repair to try to resolve this as well as a 'soft' restart. Still have a grayed-out mute checkbox in the sound section of system preferences.

I would recommend that you start by performing a "factory default" reset on each of your AirPort Express base stations. Once completed, you can use the following Apple Support article to configure each base station for streaming.

I just upgraded the software on my iPhone 4s. Now the touchscreen doesn't work and on the screen is the itunes logo, an arrow and a plug. I have powered it off and on and nothing changes
The iTunes icon and cable means that it's gone into recovery mode - you will need to connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and you should be able to use that to reset the phone, and you can then restore/resync your content to it

Just updated itunes software on my windows PC and now it won't open because of Runtime error R6034 can you help?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Updated my iTunes to the recent one and now it will not open on my MacBook Pro, got a new iPhone so tried to connect it and said i needed the new iTunes (which i did) and now i can't start my phone as i can't open iTunes which means i can't access anything on my phone!!?? HELP???????

I did the latest update of iphone 4 ( 4.3.5) ( ihave the latest version of itunes) and now when I plug my iphone into my windows XP pro ( has the latest service pack up to date) into usb port i get a message saying USB Device Not Recognised....and it does not show in itunes either ...please anyone have this problem ??

I have windows XP, just updated to the newest version and not none of my themes work. It's just all white for my tabs and tool bar. Very hard to see. I've reinstalled the themes and nothing works.
Any ideas?You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Have you tried a - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Updated to OS4 and now my phone doesn't work!!
Updated my phone to the new OS4 and now my phone doesn't work. It says I have to do a system restore for it to work. If I do a system restore won't that erase all of my photos? Is there anything I can do so I won't lose any of my infomation? I have tons of photos on my phone. If anyone could help me out, I would be grateful.
When I turn the phone on it shows a picture of the usb cable and the itunes logo. I don't want to do a system restore if I don't have to. I don't want to lose my pictures. HELP Please!!That is one lesson we all have to learn. Backup. Did you backup your iphone regularly? If you did, your photos will backup with it and the restore will put it back on the phone. If you didn't, I am sorry to say that there is probably no way to get those precious moments back. I found that out the hard way years ago. I now learned to backup my computer and iphones at least once a month.
