I have lost all my music and a site showed me how to get it back but the music wont play

My computer crashed and I lost all my music when I tryed to transfer all my music back into itunes the music wont play but it does play the new cds i have purchased from itunes
Please help as I have over 600 albums that i want to put onto my itunes that where there before my computer crashed

Media can be restored from the backup that should be kept of your important files. If you do not have a backup, that is not good.
Since you stated you recoved your music, does the music now actually exist on the computer? Do you see it in iTunes? What happens when you try to play it? Details are important, otherwise a lot of time can be wasted on irrelevant troubleshooting.
If the new music is playing, that would lead me to suspect that the old music was in fact not recovered.

Okay i had to install Itunes onto my new OS because window's Vista messed up on me and i can't get any of my old purchases back from my account such as music and movies any ideas on how to get them back (i do not have the folder that contains old items)

I've recesally had to take my Iphone to be repaired before I. took my phone i backed up my data into Icloud and when i got my new phone I have lost all my contacts and photos. My contacts are not that important but my photos are is their anyway i can recover them as many of them contain specail moments which i wish not to lose.

Restore the iPhone from your backup.

I lost some music and I want to know how to get it back.

We have 2 iPhones and an iPod Touch all linked to the same iTunes account. When one of us downloads music and apps to the different devices, it does not always download it to our PC when we plug in. Some of the albums show up on the PC iTunes account, but won't let us play them. Now I have downloaded the latest software update for my iPhone and all my music that I had downloaded to the phone is gone and it cannot locate it. How do I get the albums back with out having to purchase them again? We have started to only download things on the PC and just plug the device in to add the items. I just want to know what to do about the previously purchased items.

You get one download only.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup to put everything back.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow it.

I had iTunes downloaded on my computer. Unfortunately I got a bug or virus that deleted everything including my iTunes. So i got my computer fixed and downloaded iTunes again but then it told me my iPod was synced to another computer and then asked if I wanted to transfer and erase. I'm thinking it's going to transfer what i already had....WRONG it just deleted everything!!! How do I get that library back AND download it back on to my shuffle?

Are you talking about the Firefox status bar at the bottom of the Window where you see link urls when you pass mouse over a link.
Is the window too low ''on the screen'', like are you missing the bottom of the vertical scroll bar, or the rounded corners at the bottom of the window. If so move or resize the window
* drag window by title bar at top window
* resize window, by dragging edges of window, and then move window up.
* use "Alt+SpaceBar" and chose "Move" you may also need to resize with "Size:"
Perhaps an extension or a style to control which toolbars are shown when such as always, in full screen view, when maximized.
If still no solution try Firefox Safe Mode. If it works in safe mode than an extension or an extension setting is almost certainly the cause.

If you are being prompted for her Apple ID password when updating apps it means that there are one or more apps on your phone that were purchased with her ID. (Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them regardless of the settings on your phone.) It's possible that you are inadvertently syncing her apps to your phone. . The only way to stop this is to delete these apps from your phone. You may want to check which apps are checked on the Apps tab of your iTunes sync settings before syncing next time to be sure her apps aren't selected.
To change the Apple ID used for purchasing, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the ID you want to use.

I have upgraded my iTunes for Windows and I have lost all my apps and music.
Although i signed in with my iTunes account, i can see only 5 apps (that i downloaded in the last 2-3 days), although on my iPad and iPhone i have more than 100 apps.
If i connect my devices to iTunes, the syncronisation will be made the other way, from iTunes to iPhone/iPad, so i will lose everything.
1. How can i restore these apps from the iCloud back-ups from my devices to my iTunes? Or any other method possible?
2. If you can also give me a suggestion about how to find my music playlists, that would save me from a lot of useless work on creating them again.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
In the unlikely event that all the media has been inexplicably and permanently removed from your computer, see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
When you get it all working make a backup!
