I'm runing out of memeory when I use other applicaiton such as safari with netbens and inactive memory not clearing when not enough memory for other application.Why is this happing? Does netbens application leak memory?

I am not certain if that applies for peripherals. If you have not damaged it, I would think that the odds are on your side if you return it for a refund. Obviously you have a good reason for the return.

if bandwidth is an issue, because you're hosting on your own servers, consider the free codec xh264, you can install as a free QT-plug-in.. with low or super-low bitrates, it offers a superior quality compared to h264 ... -

I have tried but my facetime is not working.
I am using a Macbook Pro, MAC OS X 10.6.8. I downloaded Face Time through Itunes and when I try to login, I get this error message: "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." My apple ID is correct, I checked. I am using my WiFi with all other apps and I'm fine except with Face Time. Ideas?

I have the same problem. I had the issue with mac osx 10.8.2 and after updating to 10.8.3 it still drops the wifi connection constantly. It is so annoying and other devices (e.g. my iPhone 5 works fine). I have a 2012 MacBook Pro retina. Hope anybody has a solution

I got black screen after Windows Logo shown during reboot.
After countless annoying tests,
I installed the newest NVidia 285.79 driver without problem finally.
My original prefered display configuration:
link the primary monitor with HDMI port
I already followed the GeForce Driver Installation Guide, step by step,

THEN, I TRIED TO USE mini-DISPLAY PORT INSTEAD AND REBOOT AGAIN,
video signal was connected to my DELL 2707W(only DVI port)
by MiniDP to HDMI adapter/HDMI-DVI cable.
The display is NORMAL NOW !!
Root Cause assumption:
Maybe the driver newer than 267.76 always regard miniDP as primary signal output port,
even if you set the HDMI port as primary.
I think this is a serious bug, but no solution after mote than 30 driver updating.
The following configuration worked on my Mac mini 2010 system:
mini─miniDP to HDMI adapter─
HDMI cable to HDMI splitter─┬HDMI-DVI cable─Dell 2707
└HDMI cable─ 3D projector
but I found that the configuration can't play 3D video...
So I changed the configuration to:
Mac─miniDP to HDMI adapter─HDMI-DVI cable─Dell 2707
└HDMI cable─ 3D projector

I have a macbook pro 2012 13 inch, which i use for uni and youtube etc. I use firefox for my web browsing, whenever I go to watch videos, from youtube or even uni lectures (for all my subjects) the video and audio play fine, but as soon as i switch into another tab, the audio continues to play whilst the video lags and stops all together, freezing on the current screen. The timestamp on the video players also stops, which gets incredibly frustrating when I am watching uni lectures, does anybody know how to fix this?? Please help.Which os version are you using?

It sounds like you are not seeing the Airplay icon in the menu bar on your Mac but you do see it in iTunes. I would use these steps from the following article to help troubleshoot the issue:

I leave mine plugged in when at a desk to avoid "cycling the battery". In fact after 32 cycles and 14 months, it still holds 101% of designed capacity.
I just remove it from AC power at least once a month and run it down to 40%.
Oddly ... when plugged in the battery will slowly discharge to 95% then recharge to 100% save over-using rechrge circuits.

I have the G Drive 1 TB (GEN4 1TB) external drive purchased in 2010. I need to connect to my new MacBook Pro. I'm using the external drive for media storage of my video editing projects. Will a 800fw to thunderbolt adapter cable work? I understand that using a USB port connection is not fast enough for video editing. I read somewhere the G Drives don't connect well to MacBook Pro.

Can you afford a new Thunderbolt case and cable? any case with FW800 is going to be slow 72MB/sec and less, and any new 1TB drive is capable of 75MB/s minimum up to 125MB/sec.
Thunderbolt storage can of course when setup properly reach 100's of MB higher using multiple drives.
Use what you have for a system backup or for secondary backup storage.
you might be able to take the drive - most cases allow you to open and swap drives - and use this:

No, you should not. There are problems trying to go the other way, but updating a newer iOS release from a backup of an older iOS release has always been supported and is the basic means of setting up a new device from a previous one.
