I can turn the cals off but I think I just want them gone. How do I remove mobileme from my mac? Or do I?
On your Macs, open System Preferences. If you don't see MobileMe but you do see iCloud under Internet & Wireless then everything is syncing via iCloud not MobileMe.
Try this on your Macs... Deselect Calendars in System Preferences > iCloud then reselect that box then restart your Macs.
See if that prevents the duplicates.

If you add an item to a slideshow, you'll usually see 2 entries for that image in the assets panel - one represents the thumbnail, and the other represents the larger 'hero' image.
It sounds like you may have added the same image to your slideshow twice. You can select one of the hero images or thumbnail images in your slideshow and use the delete key to remove it. Then the extra 2 entries in the assets panel should disappear. -

You need to have the latest version of iTunes on the computer, version 11.1.3 to be able to handle syncing a newer phone with iOS 7. The iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with syncing and is installed by the iOS.
Go to iTunes on the computer, click on Help, Check for updates to update iTunes on the computer, or go to to www.apple.com/itunes/download and download and install the latest version of iTunes to correct your problem. -
My ipad 3 is frozen on the plug into itunes page - it won't turn off or on - just stuck. I have tried to follow advice I have found on these pages but I don't know how to connect the ipad to my mac (the advice is to connect ipad to mac and there is no usb port on an ipad). Actually, Reader SHOULD keep showing documents that no longer exist, I disagree. It's no big deal, and people will quickly realise why they can't open the file. They open more files, the old ones move off.
The REASON why it should not check is that checking whether a file exists can take a long time when things aren't good. For instance if a file server goes down, or a memory card is unplugged. That in turn would mean delays opening the File menu, and I've seen some software that can sit there for several minutes. That would really give people something of which to complain... -

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
