I have my Macbook Air hooked up to a Thunderbolt Display, is there any way to power on the Macbook Air using an Apple USB keyboard plugged into the Thunderbolt display? I would like to be able to keep the Macbook Air in the Archbook dock and not have to open it to power it on?

Try this:
Open the "Find my iPhone" app on your iPad, fill in your AppleID and password at the start up screen, and you should see a list of all your devices and their current location, if connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network. Devices not connected will be shown as "offline". But you can still trap on the icon and hit "erase iPhone" in the right hand window.
If your iPhone is not listed, you did not activate this feature during the setup of the phone and it can't be erased remotely.
If the phone is listed, even as offline, tap on "erase" to send the erase command. The next time your device will be connected to any kind of network, the content will be erased.

Yes you can still purchase replacement batteries your iPod from third party repair companies. Apple does not offer replacement parts.
Do a Google search for iPod battery replacement and you should get a plethora of results. There are many good deals on Amazon and eBay.

MacBook pro 17" will not wake from sleep mode

Ok so my MacBook Pro 17" with osx 10.6.8 will not awaken from sleep mode. when attempting to wake it up the screen dosent come on and the mouse and keyboard do not receve any power. to get back on the computer i have to force a hard restart by holding the power button for 10 seconds then pressing it again. then it boots to where i left off when i closed the lid. i have read a few forums about this problem and i have went through all the steps of reseting various things and went as far as going into terminal using sudo to disable safe sleep and nothing helps. i noticed an unusual error in my console. here is a copy of my console log. the one in question is {7/14/13 4:52:43 AM com.apple.UserEventAgent-Aqua[118] dontAutoLoad = EMPTY!} someone please help me I am over 150 miles from the nearest apple store or authorised retailer

I would start with taking a look at the settings to make sure that you are able to send and receive messages. If everything looks good then the next step would be to remove the accounts and add them back in. The prgram is in one location and the library (media + library files) are in another. Sending it all to the trash would take some pretty delibrate multiple actions and digging through multiple folders, so I don't know how this was managed unless there's something in Snow Leopard that's new. Occasionally I have moved a file to the trash in Finder that I didn't want to and I can use Finder's "undo" to undo the last move. With many files...?

sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings

then import pics to computer

you may need to save pics to camera roll first
then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes
